$350 Canadian so assume $300ish for you guys in the US. I don't have the part number though, my sales guy at MB Downtown got a VIN number from a 507 in their showroom and sent it to the parts guy. Assume it is the right piece but will confirm upon pickup of course.
Are you getting just the knob for 350 CAD or the alcantara boot as well ?

Nice one, did you order it local from your dealer or online? I heard from another member that MB Downtown had a 507 in the showroom so I put my sales guy to work for me. We've bought 4 cars from him so he owes me a favour or two. Originally Posted by noodleman

I hope that's the whole boot... $350 for the knob badge is excessive even by AMG standards.Originally Posted by olszowa12

Vise, could you do us all a favor and ask for the part numbers when you pick up the knob?
Here is a DIY and a few tips from me at the bottom:

The boot comes out upwards - just use your fingers to pull it towards you and it will come out of the surrounding trim.

the knob and the boot are changed to alcantara, so it's not just the badge. But i'm an addict...paid over $100 for a pair of the new AMG battery covers for the key lol.Originally Posted by Diabolis

$350 for the boot and knob sounds reasonable - for some reason I thought this was for the knob badge only.Originally Posted by noodleman

Holy cow - $100 for the AMG key fob covers? They came free in a tin can with my car, but $100 for two decorative pieces of plastic that cost $0.25 is not something I could justify no matter what. I got used front door pins for a decent price form someone here (I have a coupe so the fronts were all I needed - the rears are the ones that you can't take off easily), but at least they're solid metal with the (new) AMG lettering machined on top. The key fob covers are just pieces of thin plastic. The can probably costs more to make than the covers. Talk about a profit margin!

yea, it was a new thing for the 2013 cars, and no one at the time could manage to find the part number in the catalog, so a bunch of members here bought them at a premium on ebay. I was blinded by pretty plastic so I couldn't say no.
At least soon I will have a knob that matches my key lol.

Will post up the part number tonight, no problems. Thanks for the link to the DIY as well. Originally Posted by olszowa12

I may also ask for the part numbers/price for the 507 hood, grille, and DRL surrounds. I got my grill/DRL surrounds wrapped in gloss black but if the wrap gets chipped etc this winter I could potentially replace with the OEM parts. We'll see.

Hah, the key covers are very nice (I got them with my car too) but not $100 nice! Now on the other hand that red carbon fibre start button has been calling my name... Originally Posted by noodleman

Freshly installed pics... excuse the mess in the car, haven't cleaned it since after the cottage this weekend. Piece of cake to install too. Part number is 204-267-03-00-9G60.

Looks great - thanks Vise for the part #.
So it's just one part number for the knob and the boot?

Are the parts the same fit for earlier w204s?
All,
Here is a VIN number from a 2014 Edition 507:
WDDGJ7HB0EG158949
And I belive this is the part number for the boot/knob assembly
A204 267 03 00 9G60

That looks sick! If I alcantera that part, that would mean you need the steering wheel changed as well to match!

someone should check how much the 507 steering wheel is :P

My car has the AMG Dev Pkg so the right/left sides are alcantara already. I'm sure the 507 wheel is big money though.Originally Posted by Hedges

The only thing that bugs me is the white contrasting stitching. I already have the alcantra inserts on mine as well (APX - AMG dev pkg), but it's a black-on-black interior and the stitching is also black. If you have the porcelain seat inserts then it might look nice, but on my car it would probably stick out like a sore thumb.
As for the 507 steering wheel, AFAIK they are identical with the 2012+ APX ones with the addition of the little indicator band on the top portion. If you actually need to see in your peripheral vision which way your steering wheel is pointing, a black band won't help (you'd need bright yellow or red), and you are probably having an accident.
