I don't believe it comes with the boot, but I'm not 100% certain. I figure if it did, the price would be closer to $1k. I'm not sure which country it ships from, but the website had a link in the upper right hand corner to automatically translate the site to English and USD for currency. I'll keep everyone posted if the site is legit and if it's actually OEM. They accepted PAYPAL for payment, so that made me feel a little more comfortable ordering, since I could always dispute the charge if the site doesn't deliver.

I'm still in Japan for about 10 more months, then I plan on moving back to SoCal. I'll be stateside in July for 3 weeks, and have plenty of mods waiting to be done to the car, bwahahahaha

UPDATE: Recieved PayPal confirmation. The total was $655 plus $20 shipping and handling.

The company itself is a performance shop that deals mostly with BMW and Mercedes, and are based out of Bangkok Thailand.

I had it shipped to my mother's house since I'm still out of the country. I've been tracking it daily. From the last update on USPS.com, it flew into Cali, and now is in a USPS sorting facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Final destination is Orlando, so I'm expecting it should arrive by the end of this week. Pics will follow.

it should come with the boot, all the shifter knobs ive ever replaced (factory benz ones) come with the boot included.

 

I received the shifter, and it does in fact come with the boot. It looks identical to the one depicted in the ebay listing posted above. Sorry for not having pics just yet, but my mother didn't take the best quality pics. I'll be in the states next week Friday, and will post decent pics of it that weekend.

Yes I did. I payed using PayPal, and shipping was $20. It arrived in about two weeks. It was packaged in a padded shipping envelope, but there was no OEM packaging showing a part number. I asked if it was a replica, and the reply was that it is a 100% original Mercedes Benz part.

 

That's what I also thought, but two other members here have said otherwise in a different thread (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...7-edition.html). Where are you getting your information? I'm just curious - I haven't been able to verify it either way (the sales lady I deal with at MB Midtown didn't know about it last time I spoke with her).

As for the shift knob, the eBay listing was for 260 euros - that's about US$340. Nice markup to the $650 that NellyRod paid. Ouch.

Didn't North44 also get one of these but from another source? Seem to recall reading about it from someone with a white, Canadian C63 BS. Maybe it was the owner of the one for sale in Ottawa? We'll have to take a very good look at Barry's car on the 28th.

It's a pretty steep price. Unfortunately I only spend a few weeks out of the year stateside with my car, so I wanted to make sure it would arrive in time since I'll be arriving next week. If I had more time on my hands, I would've waited for more availability with reduced prices.

yea, that was a while ago when i was told the 507 wasn't coming. Thankfully that info was wrong and we're getting it!

I'm sure more will become available. It's just a matter of time, and how patient you are. If you absolutely want one now, you can order from the site in Thialand, but it'll cost double.

Vise how much did you pay for it at the dealer? Can you provide the part number you used to order it?
