A few 1/4 mile races with my C63 Black Series
So today, a car group that i'm part of rented out a private runway for the day, which we turned into a 1/4 mile track. Had about 60+ cars, almost all of them great people. Got in a lot of runs with both my GT-R and my Black Series, and caught several on video so figured i'd post up a couple of them here if anyone was interested in seeing.
This first one was a low roll race against a CTS-V coupe with a Tune. Both of us had a passenger in the car
Next is one against a Ferrari F430 with an exhaust. No passenger for him, but i had someone with me for both of my runs against him.
Also got to run against a new F10 M5. I had run against one a while back so i kind of expected the result to be the same this time as it was that first time, and it pretty much was. I did NOT jump the start btw lol, we actually started when the flag girl put down the flags, which was a bit before we actually hit the starting line.
This one was an E63 M6 with a bunch of bolt-ons...
Of course, I didn't win EVERY race. This last one was against a C63 with significantly more work done than me. My car was being pretty laggy with it's shifts today, and pretty much every shift he pulled on me. Was the fastest car I raced all day in the Black Series i think, it moved well! Not sure if he is on here but speak up if you are!
Also lost to an SLS, and beat a few other cars as well. Overall, was just a really fun day with real cool people.

Wow, that is impressive. I really thought that the C63's are slower than the new M5 or the CTS-V and with a tune? That makes me feel good...i got also a tune, ROW Airbox and Mike's power pipe(2nd cat delete) and dynoed 454 whp...I've yet to race some faster cars to see how mine compares. Which headers did you get? Are they loud? Could you use your car as daily driver? I'm thinking about doing headers on mine too but i'm afraid it may be too loud...

Regarding the C63, im really not sure what mods he had, i didn't get a chance to talk to him. I know the thing is very fast though...He also had on drag radials and was heating them up before every run, so im sure that helped as well.
Oh, and my car has Renntech headers and a custom tune

I didn't put the in-car video of that one up, because i finally had the angle right on the one outside the car, but if i did you would have seen that i actually waved goodbye to him first
Yeah, honestly i was pretty surprised at a couple of the runs; I have a modded M6 at home, and i knew this car felt faster than that did, but i had no idea how much faster until that race.
Yeah man, every time we do the event we typically have at least 1 or 2 flag girls...makes the day just a little bit better

Exactly...I wanted just a little more power, but didnt need anything as outrageous as the supercharger, so as far as bang for your buck on this car, I felt like this was the way to go.

Ok so I ask you this, the factory sound is incredible on this car. I removed the resonators and its even better. What happens with long tubes? Is it too loud? I know I heard your car in the vids but cams hold out the real sound.
