Welcome to the forum & congrats on ur new car!!

I can't help u on how to make it louder, but I would suggest u to keep it stock.. The C63 has the best exhaust sound!

Someone just posted recently about different exhaust configurations with a dB read on each. I'll try to find it for you, but straight pipe with no cats is the loudest for sure. Not legal in most places, but louder than any cat config or x-pipe.

This is a BS, but I'm sure the relative dB change is still similar with a normal C63.

I have the decatted power pipe with no H and it sounds great, IMO. Stock, but just a bit more raw, especially on lift throttle holding the gear.

The valvetronic systems will NOT sound like an amg. Especially the ap one, very different exhaust note. As for deleting your cats, only deleting the primaries will cause a CEL which will need a tune to fix and get maximum gains

Why not take out the resonator. Much louder than stock and over run sound's incredible. You also get popping noises when you lift of the throttle after a spirited run which also sound's very good

Just my experience... I did that earlier and didn't like the sound. Put the resonator back in and just removed the rear cats, which sounds awesome.

Thinking of just removeing cats to start to see if i like the sound! Before chucking alot of cash for a full system!

Electric cut outs are cheap!

or you could just opt for LT headers w/ catted mids, and leave the stock mufflers

Ok so today I had the rear cats and the middle silencer replace with an X pipe and at first I thought it sounded weird since a bit of the AMG sound disaperd.

But now after driving a bit I really like the change in sound :-).

I think its just perfectly loud and sounds more like a Ferrari sound now
