Just 2 screws hold on vorsteiner diffuser?

Please if anyone with the vorsteiner diffuser can confirm that the only thing holding it on are the 2 screws on the two ends? I know it has the tabs but just want to be sure. Would hate to see it fly off at 150mph.. Did anyone add any other form of support? Thank you.

It needs 2 bolts at the bottom & 2 on each sides.

No problem, u definitely need the 2 bolts at the bottom or else ur diffuser will have a lot of stress from the wind blowing on it. Make sure u use washers & nuts on the bolts.

hey to be fair, for 2012 we dont have mounting points at the bottom other than clips and carbon fiber ones they have to make thinner than OEM plastics so the bottom clips dont fit as snug.

I will have to design my new super strong zip tie mounting system because I am done with losing diffusers...

I drilled two extra holes in the oem location under the diffuser and just made a little bracket to mount it to the oem location (shown in the DIY thread). Not sure of the 2012s have that mount point or not.

I find it strange that vorstiener doesn't have a pre drilled holes or a bracket included to mount their diffuser to all oem mount points. The only one I've seen that has it is the arkym rear diffuser
