Yours does have the higher pitch, ala F1, but I think Keith may have been using a crappy phone to record, which might be messing with the output and sound quality

I picked up a used 2011 R8 5.2 V10 with a manual last week. Its undergoing some changes but should be done and ready for some track time in about three weeks. I'm still hanging out here on the C63 forums because I love the cars and may be back later with one.

It takes forever to take evey thing apart. You should see the boxes and boxes of stuff from the doors, fenders, rear deck lid, etc.... that came off before painting. Windshield comes out, upper brake light comes out, all the little pieces must come off. Changing a color is a big deal after the fact.
This color has so much pearl/metalic/metal flake in it, it changes color depending on the light. just rolled out yesterday.

Now the task begins to reassemble.
