Dads C63 is now Dads R8
I picked up a used 2011 R8 5.2 V10 with a manual last week. Its undergoing some changes but should be done and ready for some track time in about three weeks. I'm still hanging out here on the C63 forums because I love the cars and may be back later with one.

Bought this car because of the deal I got on it. However, its the wrong color.
While its at the body shop being disassembled, painted, and then reassembled it will get a new exhaust and some other goodies.
The color will be the new Samoa Orange that the GT comes in.

Being an audi enthusiast (have been driving Audi's all my adult life and I have a JHM modified RS4), I love the R8. Always have. Its an incredibly easy to drive car but looks like an exotic. The v10 sounds great too, especially if you give it a new exhaust (look into Capristo and Tubi for the best I think). Congrats man...

Being an audi enthusiast (have been driving Audi's all my adult life and I have a JHM modified RS4), I love the R8. Always have. Its an incredibly easy to drive car but looks like an exotic. The v10 sounds great too, especially if you give it a new exhaust (look into Capristo and Tubi for the best I think). Congrats man...
Since I'm going to be tracking the car I went with the GMG race exhaust(50# lighter than stock) and no cats.
Light weight OZ wheels, CC brakes(another 50# loss), and will have it tuned. I absolutely love the manual! Should be ready to go soon. Its really fun to drive and seems relatively fast. 
I'll update the thread as things progress even though its not a C63.
