Wheel Decision - Klassen or Velos (maybe HRE)
I've been looking extensively at various wheels for my 2010 C63 AMG Sedan. There hasn't been very many that have really stood out to me with the exception of maybe two or three. Of course, one of those is HRE's new P1 wheel and then there's Klassens M52R for a more aggressive look and for whatever reason I like Velo's Solo VII in 20's mind you shown in this picture:

My car is black on black and I want to go with a dark color such as a brushed nickle or a gunmetal (probably glossy and not matte but not sure yet) but not black. Ideally I'm thinking 19's but some of these wheels look really good based on the photos sitting on 20's. I suppose its a compromise with looks vs performance as well as limited tire selection with the 20's.
That being said, I'm just looking for general feedback on either wheel. The HRE's aren't out of the picture however the idea of possible bending a $2000 wheel stings a little more than bending a $1000 wheel.
Here is a link to the Klassens:

For whatever reason I'm not digging the Forgestar or Vossen lines although they have wheels that look very similar to the ones I've mentioned above.

Could you elaborate some more? I don't have any experience with any of these manufactures so I can't speak from experience myself. I know HRE is top tier but I'm trying to figure out if $2000+ more than the next tier is worth it and that's with a "friends and family" discount

HRE are top notch although their pricing seems to have gone up to the roof within a year... love my set & my brushed/tinted clear finish.
I am looking for a set for my bro's ISF, but cant afford their new price. LOL

I am very happy with my Klassens. Great looking, light and durable. I hit a pothole that I thought for sure would have ovaled my front right wheel but I pulled it and the wheel was true and round. The finish is durable as hell also, I have already gone through three sets of rears tires since getting my Klassens in March and two sets of fronts and we all know thaat mounting and dis-mounting can wreak havoc on the finish around the bead but mine are hlding up great.
I plan on having a set made for my SLS BS as soon as I take delivery of the car next month as well as have them make a set for the CLK BS since I have not replaced the Dymags since they got stolen.

Yes I did, not even closed to what I paid a year ago for my brushed & tinted clear. He is about to pull the trigger on the Volks G25. Too bad cuz I wanted him to be in the HRE family.

Yep, HRE quoted me some insane prices back in Feb when I was on the fence as to which wheel I wanted for my C BS. I am not a bargain shopper, prices very seldom sway my decision but it was just insanity what they were quoting me. I am very happy I went with the Klassen's and can't wait to see what they come up with for the SLS BS.

i'm only giving my opinion of course . the new prism clear might look great once it's installed . i'm a big fan of being a little different from everyone else

Good feedback!
Now I'm wondering what'll actually look better. Gunmetal in textured/matte/polished or dark brushed tinted finish in the above mentioned wheels. Choices...choices..
I'm not sure I dig the textured gunmetal as much as I'm thinking I'd like the polished or matte. The dark brushed tinted looks good too just haven't really seen it on a black car yet.

I know I may be outta line here with this but look into OZ Motorsport. They make some unbelievable wheels that don't kill you $$ wise. And they look SICK...
