Dreaded keyless go won't start on my C63 Black
Went to wash the ride. Parked the car in the middle of the driveway to wipe it down some more. Tried to move it so got in, press the start stop button. Nothing. Took the cover off tried to manually start with key in ignition. Nothing. No dash lights even.
Thought it was key batteries so I changed those. Nothing.
Called MBUSA roadside assistance. They sent a tech from a local dealer (on a Sunday no less - way to go MB) and he charged the battery with a jumper. Nothing
Now I'm waiting on a tow. I suspect its an ignition barrel not recognizing any of the keys. I wish german cars didn't have these stupid small issues. Its a good thing I didn't need to go to the OR or am on call.

I had something similar happen last month. Cra was towed to the dealer. And then it started every single day n night for the next 4 days as the dealer involved MBUSA and then MB Germany to seek a solution.
Here's the solution :
Apparently the static generated by the key-fob and my trousers (lol) disabled the kyfob. So MB Germany updated some sort of software and put this sleeve on and gave me back the car.
Not really.

If a little bit of static messed with the key, then there are some serious design quality issues going on, as static mitigation has been built into most electronics for the last.. I don't know.. 20 ro 30 years :P
