Found a broken plastic piece in my car... help needed to identify it?

I was washing my car last week end and while hoovering the back I came across this plastic object on the floor. I first quickly checked and didn't notice any broken trim in the car. So i thought it was something my kids left there and didn't really pay attention. The following day I decided to check again this little piece and realized it has a mb part number but unfortunately that piece is broken so that it's missing the last digits.
I tried to look it up on parts.com with no success. I have no idea of what this is . Do you guys know?

Part number starts with 204 919 04 ....

I don't recall seeing anything like this in my car.

BTW I have to admit your car looks sick with the current setup.
Those CF 10s and orange calipers look great

Thanks Matt. The calipers really accentuate the bronze CF10 pretty well. I must say that I'm happy with the result so far. One more item checked on the endless mod list

It is the trim piece that goes around and under the rear end of the seat rail. Slide your seat forward all the way and you will see it. There is one on each seat rail.

Agree!! Definitely part of the seat rail assembly. If you maneuver your seats around forward and back, you will see exactly where it is/goes.

Yip correct on seat rails clips, some sort of stop?

Both my C63's have had the same problems just bung them in the skip...

Thanks guys you are totally right!
This is a seat rail clip. Looks like mine is broken though. Will slide it into the rail and see if it holds.
