Final Production date for 507?
Final Production date for 507?
Not sure about a final date. However, in my case, the car was supposed to be built between 09/01 - 09/10. I heard from my dealer yesterday the car is just now showing Produced/Not-Shipped. There must have been a delay along the way.
Someone posted on here that there were possible M156 shortages and new units needing to be built due to the demand of this vehicle. For your question, I would recommend contacting a dealer to find out the final cut off date. I would venture to say you ought to do this sooner rather than later to ensure you get "on the docket" so to speak.
Others here may have more information on final build dates...there are some very "in the know" individuals on this forum.

I have seen from some other members that some of the orders for a 507 are not fillable and that the production run is over for the 507 sedan. I believe that the final 507's will be ending production and delivery by November. But..............
I have been curious about the same thing. However, I already have my 507 but my interest is more in the "how many" produced.
I am curious about production numbers to see just how "special" or "valuable" this car will be.

Still waiting to hear final word on mine. I did attempt to make an adjustment, but was told it was too late, meaning it is close to production. I asked my dealer to verify the delays and all she could say was that MB had indeed placed a temporary hold on orders, but were again accepting new ones (this was last week). Another guy I know who has ordered a 507 through the same dealer got pushed back from Nov to Jan now.
Last I heard, MB isn't going to limit the final number but put the temporary hold so they could catch up on the demand. IMO, they are not stopping production this Nov, but sometime next spring

As someone who placed an order in July for a Sedan I can tell you if you don't have an allocation already you will not get one for a sedan.

"Hi All,
We have been informed that after the November production, the C63 Sedan is being produced in Sindelfingen, as opposed to Bremen. The change has resulted in the inability to build C63 AMG Sedan with 507 Edition package. This package is only possible if the unit is produced at the Bremen factory. Therefore, we cannot fulfill any of the C63 Sedan orders (with 507) that have been submitted. Please contact your customers and encourage them to order a Coupe instead.
We can, however, build C63 Coupe with 507 Edition package.
Please let me know if you have questions."

"I’m afraid we cannot fulfill this order. I received C63 Sedan units, but have found out that because they are being built in Sindelfingen now, they cannot be built with 507 package. This package is only available for units produced in Bremen factory. We can build a C63 Coupe with 507 edition. Would this customer be interested in a coupe?"

That is interesting...the buddy I mentioned before is getting the Coupe.
Weren't there past reports saying MB will build the coupe much longer because the next generation sedan will hit markets first? So you'd be able to get a next-gen sedan or current-gen coupe...
With that being said, I'm so very glad I'm getting my 507 Sedan soon!
I'm willing to sell it for:
