2014 C63 AMG 507
I have a sedan with the 19 inch multispoke wheels. I assumed they were the same offset and width as the 507's.
I read somewhere that another guy was having rubbing issues with 275 on the inside, which makes sense cause it's pretty tight in there. That's why I thought that a 5 mm spacer would work work for the inside clearance, but not sure about outsude.

Yeah I read that somewhere too. Well no issues here. Yeah it's tight on the inside, I won't lie (that's what she said), but it clears. No rubbing yet and it's been six months. And the MPSS are awesome!! I hear another new tire is coming out to replace them though, from Michelin. Something comparable or better.
New PSS is PS4S

Thanks MFitz.
I have HMS flares on the rear and running 20 x 11 ET +16.
Currently have Pirelli PZero Nero GT 295/25/20 but switching up to 305/25/20 over the winter.
You can likely run 275 on OEM wheels 18 (19) x 9 +54 but a spacer will make it rub.

Impressive mods Mort!
Its great to see 295's & 305's on these cars...too bad the manufacturers don't do that, except Porsche it seems.
Thanks for the information.
After reading all of these interesting posts, I'm going to have to choose between 12mm spacers on the stock tires or putting 275's on the rear.
The 275's may provide a better look.

275 on stock wheels will not rub on outside 110%, but might rub on the inside fender lining, hence running a 3-5 mm spacer to clear.

The problem with a 3-5 mm spacer is that it is possible that the wheel will no longer centre on the hub and will end up with vibration at highway speeds from being slightly off centre when mounted.

Good spacers are hub-centric and hold the wheel dead center on the hub. I've never had issues with spacers and vibrations.

centre when you torque down the lug bolts.

No spacer less than 10mm has a hub centering flange for the C63. Any spacer less than 10mm is a flat disc and will not centre the wheel hub. If the spacer moves the wheel out more than about 3mm the wheel hub will no longer centre on the hub extension and it will be difficult to get the wheel to
centre when you torque down the lug bolts.

C63 AMG Edition 507
I am planning to order H&R 12mm spacers (all the way around) with 40mm bolts for my 507 since H&R seems to be the brand of spacer that most are going with.
I have spoken with H&R but didn't find them very helpful.
Can anyone tell me what part number the 12mm spacers are and what type of bolt (round head or tapered)?
Many Thanks.

Lug bolt type depends on wheel type, not spacer type

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I was wondering what some of the 507 owners in this thread ended up doing. I just got a 507 and was interested whether or not anyone has tried a 245 / 275 MPSS combo no spacers and with H&R's. Curious if you had any rubbing with the combo I am thinking about doing.
Thanks
Thanks

Fronts should be fine with MPSS 245 even with a spacer. The rears, I think 275 may work. I’m going with that combo at the next tire change. Do you have the thicker spring pads in the rear?

Thanks for the Reply. I have not lowered the car yet but I was planning on buying the thicker pads in case I needed them.

Built 2008 G55 & one big 80 Series LandCruiser !
I just put 255/ 275's on my new to me 507 sedan..... perfect fit without spacers on stock suspension - suspect I'll even be able to get the H & R 12mm spacers in once the dang longer titanium lugs finally show up...
and I went 255/35/19's & 275/30/19's w/ Hankook V12's..... ( I blew a rear tire jsut after purchase so didn't have much time to wait for Michelins..)

LakeShow23, am buying a set of 507 wheels for my 2013 C63. Noticed that you made a +1 upsize to your tire purchase in September 2014. Any interference issues on front or back? Were you able to make the tire upsize without using spacers? Thank-you.

Wanted to add my experience here for other members looking to go wideeerrr...
255/35/19 PS4s Fronts and 275/30/19 PS4s Rears.
Rear is flush, and if I were to go 285s, I’d probably need a spacer to bring the wheel out for clearance + roll fenders.
Front has ALOT of room. And if sizes were available + wheel could take the width, it could go 265s no problem.
Some pics to show how the gap/clearance. *i am on stock suspension 507edition.
