Just curious how fast you guys have actually taken your C63 (hypothetically, of course). I have a 12 mile straight road that calls my name every time I'm on it, but the bumps, cracks, and potholes keep me from putting my foot into it.

I've gunned it in 4th a few times, and can't imagine how 5-6-7th would take the car near 200mph....

We'll assume everyone who posts was on a "closed track,"

Street roads only for me and 115-120mph tops for me, and even then I do that maybe once a month... very random and seldom. I enjoy KEEPING my license. Here in NJ the risk's are too high to fudge around. Police can arrest you on the spot, take you license and impound your car on the spot for sh*t like this.

Or would it make you "ohh and ahh" more if I said 175mph ????

This happened in an undisclosed location a couple times but I hit 155 and the car cut power, I have a non-P31 stock Sedan. Car was still pulling strong.

Nope, not at all. I have a healthy dose of appreciation/respect for this beast and its capabilities... just curious if anyone has topped-out a tuned car

not fast enough.. definitely not 175.

I enjoy acceleration more than top speed.
I'd rather have neck snapping 40-70, rather than a top speed of 180mph

Thankfully my P31 has enough powerrrrrr to do that and good enough brakes to bring me back in a hurry..

Which stretch of road is that? PM me if you prefer.

I've only had the stones to do 160mph. I probably could have gone faster, but I didn't want to chance it at the time.

I've had my stock P31 up to it's limit at 280/174 a few times, it gets there quite easily. I also did a 0 - 280/174 once, took about 2km or 1.2miles.

Stock 507. Highway passing at 120-130 is easy to do. . .sometime too easy. I mean I want to hear that exhaust. Had it up in the 145-150 range with lots of pull left. Hypotheically speaking of course.

I did a quick sprint up to ~150 during a rally back in July. It was still pulling hard, but I didn't want to chance it further.

Fastest I've been is the limiter stock, and 185 or so tuned - haven't had the opportunity to open it up since installing headers. Wide open it shifts to 5th at 175 lol

Nope, not a troll. Owner like you. Maybe I should have asked what is the actual MPH limit of this car in tuned form.... since stock has the limiter. I just can't imagine going to whatever the limit is.... too d#m@ fast!
