header gaskets and bolts

I just received my headers! They were used, so I probably need some header bolts, and some header gaskets.

Can I reuse the stock manifold bolts?

Are the stock manifolds sealed to the heads with MLS gaskets so that I can reuse them on the headers "I've Done this several times on latemodel mustangs with better results than aftermarket gaskets"?

If not, what size bolts, and thread pitch? Where to get them, and where to get the gaskets if mandated.

BTW, Thank you "blown63" for the no-nonsense transaction on the headers, and shipped out in a timely manner.

Interested in this as well as I have a header install coming up. I took a quick look and think the manifolds are held on by studs and nuts with a flange on them and they appear to be in good shape. Might need new nuts and washers. Washers for sure if there are any. Gaskets I would get from the dealer unless someone knows of higher quality aftermarket gaskets.

Stock mb gaskets. Grab a few extra studs and nuts, you might need them.

Have fun, it's the worst job ever. Removing the manifolds is the worst part.

You need some sort of tool to lock the cams in places no? Else you could screw up the timing big time.

I think you are confusing heads with headers. Heads are basically what hold the valves and cams and let the engine breathe in and out. Headers are the exhaust pipes that come from each individual cylinder and merge the exiting gases together smoothly and route them to the back of the car.
