Chrome Window door trim Blacked out!

C63 AMG 507 Saloon sept delivery
Chrome Window door trim Blacked out!
Just chaged my chrome trim to shadowline trim as it should have been from the factory.
507 has Gloss black mirrors spoiler grille and then chrome window trim come on mercedes!!!!
Think it makes the wheels really pop !
Anyone else wants to change???

+63. I couldn't stand that trim piece on my black car.
They look like the stock forged 507 wheels. And I agree, they look miiiiighty good. I still haven't grown to like the stripes yet though

Thought about the trunk trim.
Might get it done, my sister does this as a job not that I paid her...
Its a stock 507, liked the standard polished wheels rather than the black ones.
Merc should offer the shadowline trim as BMW do.

Shadow trim on the E63 doesn't black out the window trim.... I know because ours is spec'd with it.
That said OP the window trim looks great! I would think about doing a 40-30% Ceramic tint but thats just what I like. Also I have a P31 not 507, I wrapped the window trim like you but I painted the DRLs, grill and that trunk piece. Trust me when I say paint the trunk piece to colour match the car instead of wrapping it in gloss black. It looks weird when there is a slight difference in the black. My car is Obsidian so I can't comment on how it would look on a plain black car but just my $0.02.

And if you want another mod that is subtle but one of may favourites is to do a light smoke tint (Film) over the tail lights and cut out the centres so the turn signal doesn't get tinted

Jordan your car is sweet! Im super jealous! I love the painted Side markers! (Only white car Ive seen with them and they look 100x better imo) I went painted too until my bumper was hit in a small accident so I got a new bumper and no side markers at all
