PlastiDIP
Went ahead and blacked out a few things today, Front grill (partial), rear spoiler, Trunk trim and badges. This wasn't the best work but it worked out well.
I will redo in the future, there is some texture on the PlastiDip I don't like.
I'm going to Carbon Wrap these parts later, but the PlastiDip looks good for now.
The front grill was a PITA to remove, I removed the chrome pieces from the grill and sprayed them separately. The rest was taped on vehicle.

You can use a product from dipmycar that will remove the plastidip by basically returning it to its original state and then power washes away. The downside is that it discolors plastic so you'd have to paint it anyway. Ultimately I'd like to do that but yours came out well.
How is it up close? Bubbly?

The trick with PlastiDip is to spray layers slowly, don't rush to get the thick layer. Just spray and let it dry, spray again and let it dry, repeat.

Debating on painting the roof spoiler as well.

I think this car needs eye lids to adjust the look of the headlamp. I don't like these bulky headlamps.
When you pull the PlastiDip from the trunk lid, it will cut off around the emblem all by itself 100% perfect. You just have to pull slowly and carefully.

Why does Merc use chrome trim on AMG cars? BMW knows better than this and uses shadow-line trim or just plain flat black! Dammit. So does Audi, and every other German manufacturer, chrome is for Cadillacs.

I have the same color and have blacked out fogs... but get ready for frequent touch ups... I'm thinking plastdip may hold up better here and who cares about color texture down there.
I recall someone posting that they plastidipped them by careful painters tape and lots on newspaper around.
