brake lights conversion
Hi Folks,

So Ive been looking around and trying to find clarity on..

I have a 2009 C63 and Im really getting fed up of the rear brake lights..

What Im wondering is if I can change to these?



Help will be highly appreacited..

Yes, you can change them. However, once you swap them you'll get an indicator on the dash that your brake lights are out. They will still be working though. I'm not sure if anyone has figured out the coding issue and I know some have done this and just put up with the brake light out indicator.

The rear sam on the 2009 can be programmed to have the lights function properly the trick is to find someone who can do it.

Yup. Rear SAM has to be programmed to light up correctly and without any dashboard error. Luckily you have a 2009 and it can be done. 2010 and 2011 are SOL. If you're in the Bay Area message me. I know someone who can do it.

I remember member whipple did this for many members a while back... he started charging members i believe, but idk if he's still doing that or if he's around lol
