ECU tuning... which do you prefer and why?

Kleemann or Weistec

Lot ,if not most, of folks here have Eurocharged. I have it too and love the tune! Great customer service as well.

Go with someone local. That way if something goes wrong you can have local access to them.

IIRC, Kleemann is located in Europe and Weistec is somewhere in southern California.

I have a Kleemann tune (old school). Still very pleased with no issues, but have no basis of comparison to the others.

Easier said... I live on a rock...(Hawaii) pretty much nothing is local here, unless I, myself become a distributer...

I mean, I suppose the Southern California is closest...as for any resolving issues. But I have also been talking to Kleemann HQ person in the mainland U.S as well...

hmm... I just did some reading and research on eurocharged and it seems pretty legit and i now know why people go with those...

Q: Do many of the forum members go with , or those that have eurocharged choose, because you didnt have to send the ECU and can do it via handheld?

Go with Weistec. They are the best

I have been using OE Tuning after trying to use some of the other tuners with no success and have been very pleased. Their tune worked very well with stock and service was excellent for retune when adding headers.

All the more reason to use the handheld programmer. That way you can easily swap files when needed or apply a new file when you mod further!

We seem to do around 20-30 63's a month throughout all our locations. We know the platform very well, and were the first company to offer the handheld tuner.

I have used Eurocharged all the way over here in Sydney, Australia with the handheld on my E63. Also did an E92 M3 with the same Handheld. And my ML63 with the same handheld.

No dramas at all.

I will do my C63 with Eurocharged too. Just have to get it unlocked to my VIN, and buy the tune.
