I think i'm calling 2 dealers Monday. Lowest price wins. They are both about the same distance and both large dealerships, so not a big deal to me. I bought my car across the state, so no loyalty to worry about. I'll report back.

Just paid 528 at Merc of Fort Lauderdale with a 45$ off coupon (just google "mercedes service coupon" and you'll find a bunch). Took them 45 minutes to get my car from the lot and wash it, I was furious for waiting so long, so my next service is free. My coworker says they are typically pretty slow there if you're thinking about using them.

I was quoted $900 for service A at my local dealership! He even said it was a minor service and went on to quote me that. The rip off is freaking amazing! This is in Edmonton!

As far as I know it's only oil change and just regular check up's for rest of the things. And they still want that much for that. It really is robbery.

It certainly is robbery. You guys have too much oil money. The local dealer in Saint John NB wants $260 + HST for a Service A and I thought that was high. I do my own because that is what I like to do and in your case it sounds like you could save a lot. Enough to buy all the tools from doing one service.

Especially if you buy a decent diagnostic tool, regular tools and quality torque wrenches, that alone is around $1500 to 2k

As I indicated in a previous post, you get new wiper blades, oil and filter change, and cabin filter replacement. Here's the details:
