resonator delete vs catback systems

so I did did resonator delete this weekend and am finding the sound to be way too loud (OUTSIDE, not cabin-drone) and unrefined in the higher rpms. I don't want to mess with cats or headers as I'm still under warranty so am interested in catback setups, one being the eisenmann race exhaust. can anyone share experiences with this system or similar, and how it sounds relative to a resonator delete in terms of refinement and drone? I didn't find the cabin noise or drone from resonator delete to be problematic.

thanks!

Did you just do the Resonator delete? Im surprised you find it too loud. I just did the reso delete (Straight piped) and it sounds great with NO drone.

Did they straight pipe or x pipe the resonator?

I have my resonator deleted and the secondary cats replaced with an X pipe.

Music to my ears!
Not too loud IMHO.

I bought the Eisenmann race exhaust. If you dont like your set up the way it is now, you will hate this. I bought it and removed it within about 2 weeks. $3k down the toilet. It drones like a ****, just unbearablely so. I thought Eisenmann knew what they were doinig but in this instance it is a fail.

hm, it was the note at the top end that bothers me, much less the drone - which i actually dont feel any at all. can you elaborate though?! im staying away from anything cat-related so i know my options are limited.

it would have been $2k down the drain if you sold it to me for $1k to let me gamble $500 down the drain.
