Complete Grill Delete & Custom solution

I don't like the grill. Is it possible to remove the whole unit, and replace it with some custom fitted mesh? Basically, I want to know if it does anything besides being there for cosmetic purposes.

What year is yours?
On Pre_FL i think it is only cosmetic. On the latest FL MY you have the distronic option which uses the star as a cover.
Either way it is definitely possible to just have a full mesh grill for better air penetration

Anything short of a full blown race car and this looks ricer imho. Don't mind me, just my opinion. I do like different and interesting though.

Well Keith got this starless grill made specifically for track days. For show he was using the single fin FL OEM grill.

I was just thinking about that because I've seen it before. Do you know who makes it?

I think at some point Mode Carbon was making them.

Nope because of the top part. Our car has a different hood and our grill comes in 2 pcs.
