disable low check washer fluid
please is there a way to disable the low windshield washer fluid warning on the c63, my reservoir leaks way below the sensor and its a pita replacement, i would rather have it disabled, since i dont use it at all, the warning drives me nuts.
is there a way to disable it or tell the sensor that there is infact water when there is none?
thanks

You might be able to do it by locating the sensor and isolating ie removing it from the circuit by joining the wiring that supplies it. Having said this you may find this is at least as bigger job as getting to the reservoir and fixing the leak!!

The leak is from the seam, where the plastics meets and it runs across various points of the plastic, so either i get a new one and risk the same issue happening or i disable it.
Care to point me in the right direction for the sensors, so i can disable it from there ?
Thank you

Short circuiting the sensor will not work. It will just result in a different error, most likely an electrical fault since the sensor has an impedance value. If you can figure out what the base signal is, and a resister that matches it's impedance is in a non fault state, then you are golden, but that is probably more pain then just replacing the washer unit.

I bought my Star from Alibaba for $300 landed (approx) [C3 Star], didint need the complications with [C4] although i know its newer, the main difference is C4 can do wireless or something?
Then bought IBM T30 for $70 and had some old RAM laying about that boosted it to 2GB (from memory)
Its never misses a beat.

Is it possible pls to help me check if there is really an option in the c3 to handle the warning disabling ?
Thank you so much

thanks, but i have solved it....
i was able to pick up another reservoir from a scrap car,and after 1 hr, all good........, i wonder why it would crack from the seam..... poor quality build

My washer fluid leaks as well when I top it up all the way but since it doesn't give me any errors I am not bothering with it. It still store quite a lot of washer fluid so it's there for when I need it as well.

why i bothered with mine, was that it leaked pass the sensor point, can u imagine that.....lol..... but its all good now, back to firing the beast
