Michelin PSS out of stock...
So I tried by all means to obtain 2 255/35 R18s PSSs for my C63 and guess what? Michelin production batches will be delivered in mid August (at the best). Had to choose another option, since I really loved the PSS mounted in my car: Lasted much longer than other brands/models (V12s, Bstones RE's, Yokos, etc) and are in another performance league (wet and dry). I chose Pilot AS/3 instead, as an emergency, since the thread is almost gone on the rears and is raining heavily in Florida now. I was aquaplaning yesterday at 50mph. Too dangerous for my sake.
Say, I don't understand why Michelin was not planning the demand for this tire! I mean, it is installed on newer sport cars as of now (458s, the 2015 M3/M4, etc.) Yeah, different size blah blah, but we C63 owners have a demand too...

did they have the 265/35/18?
yes, those are in stcok
higher LI and XL rated
plus they are the same diameter as the front
25.4" (vs 25 for the 255)
these cars are squirrelly with low tread

SoCal and Nevada do not have much precipitation. I once drove from LA to Vegas and back without knowing that my rear tires were almost bald. Those were factory P-Zero tires which were all gone after just 3000 miles. I got lucky getting away from it since the road was very dry. Have been using PSS since then and they run very well. Tread life is much longer.

Don't like the "meaty" look of those (saw pics from some folks in here). Apparently, the AS/3s last a little longer...

I have the a/s 3
Very happy with them! Went from the Stock Continentals to those and they were 10 times better. Can't compare to PSS because I never ran them but again, the AS/3 are great in the wet or dry.

What did you dislike so much about the Contis?

the Michelin A/S 3 will last longer because it is a all season tire
however the PSS will not because it is a summer performance tire
Currently alot of brands are out on some popular finishes
Michelin & pirelli are out on 285/25/20
its a arm and a leg to find them right now !

I waited 2 months for my 275/30/19 PSS, I had to get on the waiting list or else I wouldn't get any at all. The new batches are to fullfil back/ordered customers.

<<Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately Toyo does not have an production date at this time, it will be at least 6-8 weeks before we might get them back in stock.
Thank you>
Not good if you need to hit the track.
