Time to get one!
Chaz here, new to the MBWorld from the DFW area. I currently drive a 2006 Honda S2000 with 38k miles (Weekend car). It's a blast to drive and I absolute love her. No, she isn't slammed, she can still see the track. But, at her ride height, I really just have to choose where I go and when.
Deal is, it is time to get a house with the lady (Apartment life is fun and all), and I just would love a more practical car…that has the comfort, the luxury, and the quickness I need. Not to mention 4 doors and something she can drive as well.
I'll be looking for a 2010 C63 Amg!
Anywho, I have zero questions right now as I will search and lurk the forum, I just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome!!!
The C63 is a fun car to drive. Great power/ reliability of the M156 engine / great exhaust sound. It gives you a mix of luxury, speed and practicability with the 4 door. Good choice I would say. GL with your search.
I have one for sale but a 2009 MY.

You'll end up with lots of opinions, but coming from the s2000 you may really like the P30 optioned 2010 models. The suspension is quite good and doesn't feel "floaty" as the non P30 versions. This options was discontinued in mid 2010 in favor of the p31 package, which doesn't modify the suspension (the C63's weak point) but does provide 30 extra hp. Both packages provide improved brakes, and a revised steering wheel. The 30hp disadvantage of the p30 is easily and inexpensively solved by any number of tuners with very good reputations.
The cars are out there, I looked for six months to find a 2010 with p30, and all other available options and less than 10k miles. It had 6500 miles and 16 very fun months later it is at 11k with 3.5 years of mob warranty left...

I would love to get my hands on one privately sold, 2009-2010 from around 26k-33k, with moderately low mileage.

Will take into consideration, thank you!
Goodness you picked her up brand new! I looked for 2 years for my S2k (As the kids are getting ahold of them and trashing them).
I finally found one, all stock, from a 50+ year old lady. Car had 14k miles, and 2 years later she has 38k…. I haven't decided 100% if I will just get a C63 and keep the S, or sell it.

Welcome bud!
Just by looking at all the new comers, it looks like the C63 is a very desirable second hand car. Its a good sign for the AMG brand.
If you have any questions, let us know. The AMG community are a great bunch.

This place is awesome already, appreciate it!
I do have a few questions now. How many of you guys actually like to Daily the c63, and through experience even without warranty, how reliable have they been?
I am reading back and forth, and it is hard to differentiate between the experienced answers and the answers that sounds experienced but they are just talking out of their rear.
