Vibration on start up
Hi .im a new member from Kent in England. My C63 is 9 months old, have had it back to the dealership for this current problem which is vibration on start up. They have assured me nothing is wrong but I'm not convinced. The vibration goes away on start up...has anyone else experienced this problem?

You have a 6+ liter v8 coming to life. You're more than likely fine.
Also, because the dealer says you're ok, I'm just going to assume there are no CELs and the car drives normally as well.

^^^this. If you really still think something is wrong, open the hood and take a video of the start.

At the very worst I'd say it would be an engine mount or something... But it is only on start up soooo yea

+1 Engine mount.
Just had mine replaced along with transmission mount and drives like brand new.
My car is nearly 2 years old, low km's/mileage. But because of the way i drive etc the passenger engine mount gave way. So i replaced the engine mounts and tranny mount.
The car would vibrate a lot on startup and once warmed it would go away.
This has now gone and the car is back to normal. I think my wife's 63 is having the same issue because hers has begun to have the same symptoms.
I only knew it was engine mount because of the oil i found on the passenger side in the garage.

Again, larger engine is going to cause these issues more frequently.
No biggie really. I'm sure its expensive though

I don't expect my car to be perfect. What I mean is that there is difference, in my mind, between a problem that will develop into an expensive repair and a "quirk".
Give you an example.....my car likes right. It doesn't go straight as an arrow all the time. I don't feel the need to have a dealership put me against a wall and hit me without lube first. So I live with it. No problems, no leaks, not fighting it to correct and just a "quirk".
There will always be a rattle or a vibration or a hiccup here and there. Nothing mechanical is perfect and if it is now, it won't be tomorrow. Entropy
