C63/AMG Trunk Emblems
I bought a 2011 C63 without the trunk emblems... why anyone takes them off is beyond me.
Anyone have a recommendation (other than a dealership) to get replacements?
Thanks

I took mine off because "63" with a 6.2 annoys the hell outta me. And I blacked out the AMG badge so the car is more sleeper. eBay isn't bad for badges. Most usually have all the tape and everything to just peel and stick. Why else would so many fake AMGs be out there....

If I was head of AMG for a day, I'd can the green agenda and put out a 6.4 liter naturally aspirated motor and step up the badges to C64.
Would have made a hell of a lot more sense then sticking with C63 and now having a 4.0 liter force fed engine. They can take their lower displacement and stuff it.
I'll trade up when they give me 6.2 liters or more back. Until then, you better hope tree huggers want to go fast and pay big money for efficiency.
I mean C'MON!!!! To think the "green" buyer has the same priorities with the AMG crowd is retarded.
Step on the gas and wait for the ex-wife whine of the turbos spinning up and woosh.....off you go to compensate for the lack of a sack while you overheat the engine and sacrifice reliability in the process. I've already heard the CLA45 AMG "speed" by and if the W205 C"63" follows suit, I'll puke. Stop trying to out BMW, BMW. You're AMG!... now act like a man.

I bought mine from Ebay, I believe they were $60. It includes the 2 fender badges, "C63" along with the AMG badge. They use 3M tape, very strong. The only thing is you have to position the C63 badge yourself and carefully space them apart.

This is how AMGs used to look before all these stupid badges. Not even any 3 point stars.
And how I have mine
Usually a prod of the throttle makes those BMW douches back off...haha
And how I have mine
I also bought my C63 completely debadged, I liked the look for a while until BMW owners kept thinking I was a regular C-class with loud pipes, now when they see the badges they usually back off .

The badge should match engine across the board. I don't just say this cause I have a 6.3 either. I could write a book about how much this pi$$e$ me off and is counter to Mercedes heritage (I may have over at PL).
Sorry to hijack OP's thread - I'd buy from a dealer who discounted or OEM parts online, but avoid the aftermarket stuff. I wouldn't get a used set as re-taping would be an unsighly PIA.
