Vaero C63 vs. OEM fit?

Has anyone purchased or seen how well these c63 parts look and fit compared to OEM? Apparently, they are also the same specs as OEM???

This is to make a C300 look like a C63. We all have C63's here so the answer is most likely no, nobody has tried this.

In a sense, yes. Like if you have a C63 and got in a front end wreck and needed a new bumper I don't see why this wouldn't be an option.

However, I've just never seen anyone use or even mention this and I've been here for some time.

That was my reasoning for posting it in the C63 section... i had never heard of Vaero,
and my purpose was to see if any 63 owners had run one of these on their cars... (I am more of an OEM guy myself, but i thought i would ask) I was going to buy just the front bumper for my wife's car (C300) as it recently got hit...

I initially THOUGHT this was a sized-down version of the c63 bumper to fit a C300... But after researching it and speaking with a representative over at this place, he informed me that the kit "required" the entire front end to mount up correctly... (front bumper, fenders, hood, grille) So, I went with the assumption that this is made to the same specs of the C63 front end... (IE, doesn't bolt up to the C300 fenders) Maybe that was a bad assumption? Maybe this is a sales ploy to make me purchase the entire kit as opposed to just the one part i require...

I do not see anything different about these pieces??? This is not a wide-body kit or anything racy. They look like OEM parts to me.

Yeah, these are replacement parts for a C63. They are not interchangeable with nonAMG C-Class. Hence, even if you bought all pieces, they still wouldn't fir on a C-Class. Our cars share everything with the non-AMG C-Class form the firewall BACK. The entire engine bay and front end is longer and wider than the non-AMG. It is to accommodate the massive engine that get's stuffed into these little C-Classes.

About 5 years ago I remember making a similar mistake trying to fit a C63 front bumper on my C350. I ordered one because I really liked the vents in front of the front wheel arches and tried to swap it out on my C350. I kept wondering why the bumper was 2 inches wider than the one on my car. I remember taking it to 2 or 3 different body shops and kept getting turned away. I finally called the company to set-up an RMA and return the bumper and while I was getting return instructions and asked why I was returning it, I was made aware that this was a C63 replacement bumper, "Not for use on C250/C300/C350". Costly error

This is what's misleading:

"Fits the following models: Fits All Sedan Models, C300, C350, C63"

And whats even more misleading is the fact that i was told i need to purchase their HOOD for this kit to work, yet their images show a C300/350 Hood with their kit!?!?
(Could be a prototype version before their hood was stamped with the lady lumps on top?)

Hey everyone, allow me to chime in here and clear up some confusion.

Vaero is a new brand we just recently launched. It is specifically made to fit like an OEM part. It is a direct bolt on item and the bumpers and sides are made from polypropylene thermoplastics (PTP) which is the same material your OEM bumpers are made from. We have fitments for W163, W204 (08-11 and 12-14 models), W463, and W221 with many more to come in the future.

To further clarify, this particular kit in question is in fact designed for the regular W204 C Class. The kit includes front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, hood, fenders, fender liners, undertray splash shield and the grille and accessory kit. The only part this kit doesn't come with is the star emblem for the grille itself.

If you currently own a C63, this kit wouldn't be for you unless you wanted OEM style replacement parts as they are indeed OEM fitment for the C63. We offer the fenders and hood, both in sheet metal and the front bumper would also be a direct bolt on replacement for a C63.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion and if anyone has any questions, feel free to let me know and I will be happy to help.

That is correct, which is what we covered when we spoke about this same thing via PM earlier today.

How can it fit both the C63 and all non-AMG C-Classes?

The engine bay are has completely different dimensions and sizes than the regular C-Class. The C63 is almost 2 inches longer and 1.4 inches wider. I don't understand??

It fits both because with the regular C Class, it is a complete conversion kit that changes the fenders and hood which would allow the additional width needed to fit the C63 parts.

its only longer and wider because of the fenders and bumper cover... the mounting points are identical and the engine bay is the same.

We actually recently installed these parts onto a standard C Class (see small brakes lol) You can see pictures of the excellent fitment HERE
