Smile C63 AMG P31 - Just Bought Eurocharged v5 Tune!

Hey Guys! Still pretty new to this forum. Anyways I have a 2012 C63 Coupe with every single package you can think of, including P31 Performance Package! I also have a resonator delete and haven't checked if I have a charcoal delete (bought it used), and that's about it for performance as of right now.

Anyways I just purchased the Eurocharged v5 Tune and I must say I am pretty excited! I would like to hear feedback on the tune from anyone who has had it or still has it. Also was wondering what type of gains everyone else has had! Want to know what to expect when I get it. Thanks for the feedback

I had the V5 installed about a month ago, had NO gains tune wouldn't take on my car for some reason? I had the "Blip" but besides that no power increase , flashed back to stock and car feels better and a lot quicker up top..

I am not P31 so the power increase on mine felt more drastic than you will feel on yours but nonetheless most are claiming nice gains on P31 package.
I have not had mine dyno'd but most who have without P31 I think are seeing gains upwards if 30-40whp just from the tune. I think most P31's are seeing gains of 15-20whp.
Your big gains will come with headers and tune combined.
Happy Modding!

Just installed v5 tune on my 13' P31 coupe.

My impressions:
-Shifts noticeably quicker (up & down)
-Throttle blip is great
-As for power...not sure if I have actually gained much here, throttle response also relatively unchanged (or even diminished). I am also beginning to wonder if mine didn't take as well. Anyone else able to chime in?

Planning to run this by Jerry at eurocharged to see what he suggests.

You're the second person I've seen say the tune didn't take. I don't think you're going to get the throttle blips and the rest of the tune doesn't take. My only experience has been with Cobb and you either have a tune or you don't.

I think it's more likely that p31 isn't gaining anything but I hope I'm wrong because I ordered one.

For anyone interested, EAN (with P31) and myself (with 507) are doing before / after dyno runs with the V5 in the next day or two. I believe he/she will be posting up results, and I certainly will.

Thread to keep an eye on: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post6168783

I'm also curious what everyone is talking about with throttle blipping (ie our cars already do it, so whats the big deal?), so will post comments with impressions on any changes that may happen with this.

I think the blip with V5 is much more aggressive. I had seen a vid someone posted, and can notice it even in the video, the blip is insane.

That is my thought as well...I am guessing I would not have had the throttle blip if the rest didn't take. Again, I have to get with Jerry on this one to be sure. I am also going to check my air filters and make sure they are good and clean. I do feel the top end may have a bit more pull. The shifts are noticeably quicker - this alone is worth the tune imho.

BTW, here a good video illustrating the downshift "blips" - lots of fun, and much more noticeable than stock tune.

Hey Ya'll I just figured I'd post a couple of my time slips from my 1st drag day with my C63. Overall, I feel like I did ok on from the line, but am very surprised my trap speeds were so low. Even with a slow launch, I was expecting 117-119mph. To my surprise I only could get 114mph. Thoughts...I am beginning to think it is the tune - I need to check with Jerry.

I had the best times in manual mode with traction control off.

Has Eurocharged fixed this issue? I am planning on purchasing a P31 C63 sometime this week if all goes well and it has the EC V5 tune with Mygenius. I am wondering if I just put the tune back to stock if it is robbing power.

The tune "not taking" is very rare and I believe due to operator error . Of course it would be robbing power if you put it back to stock.

Facepalm! I wrote that end part like an idiot. Sorry.

So there are power gains to be had on P31 equipped cars with the V5 tune? Any threads with the success stories or members with numbers that show improvement?

What has your experience been with the tune?

I am not sure how some of you did not notice any power gains.

My car could not do this before the tune:

I now have the V5 tune, but my dyno runs were done with the V4...

I am in same boat and will be doing some dyno runs as soon as I can get time. 2012 P31.

I am scratching my head on those stating the trans shifts different as the tune does nothing for the trans. It's a completely different controller.

I have the V5 tune in the car right now but not 100% on the changes. I would like to see the numbers and curves on the dyno vs stock.

Haha, no worries. There are a couple of other threads but these were just the top two I pulled.
I love the tune, very easy to see a power difference, though not as much as non P31's would see. The shifting points/feel/quickness is completely different and how hard it pulls. Of course the cracks/blips/pops are more amazing too.
