I was very disappointed about the low numbers on my 1st ever dyne pull. I was expecting 350-375, and needless to say I was heartbroken. Not sure why it was so low.

Also check out http://www.brentuning.com/dyno-database

The Tuner has a C63 that put down 514

PS, I picked my car up in Georgia ;-)

Maybe something was just a little off when you baselined...I would have thought around 340 would be close but the 481 in the end seems about right

So, what's the deal with jumping into a thread that is a review of another vendors product to push your own wares?

Not pushing anything. Just clarifying the previous post.

Well, I'm glad OE jumped in because Brenn claims a "custom dyno tune" that to me sounds like each car is individually dyno'd and modified..... which is not true is OE is providing a box tune.

I'm still a bit wary of the numbers that have been posted. Nothing against Brenn, I just don't see those numbers adding up in my head.

To my knowledge, each car is each car is individually dyno'd and modified. As far as the numbers, if two separate dynos are reporting the same numbers, I would have to say the gains are valid.

Choppo, has your tune "evolved" any as the adaptives have started to modify themselves?

Im sure we can work it out Jay....as for the "evolution" as the adaptives change I have found that if I drive it even semi-decent it gets noticeably "softer".....BUT....as soon as I do the key on, gas pedal, key off trick it wakes right back up to full fledged psychopath mode!

Oh ok,
i just was not understanding what you meant which was my fault it think but what is the "key on, key off" trick ? I seem to remember something lime that but it escapes me.
If i drive it descent i get ok milage but when i punch it, it wakes right up like a pissed off banshee.

Quote: There's a big black guy (not racist just the best description i can make of him....) that has a black CLS63 that I see there all the time. His ride is super clean and the dude is super friendly. Wish I knew how to contact him so he could join the meet up, which we need to set up. I was thinking something like that Cars & Coffee they do on sundays. I feel like we can do that. Or we could organize to just all meet at one of the existing car meet ups (there's a general meet up in Roswell/Marietta at the Avenues every sunday between like 8-12 that I've been to a few times).
The black CLS63 was there when I stopped by on Monday and I STILL say that is THE smoothest amg there is....I wanted to buy one SO bad but, and even though I love the full length console, the lack of a 3 man back seat took it off my radar...grrr! Id be driving a white CLS63 RIGHT NOW if only it had that extra seat bottom!!!

However, I did get to play with a new 911 from Macon to Savannah.....made the drive MUCH shorter having someone to play with! !!!

At first i was a little skeptical about the tune but after driving it and seeing the results on paper i am extremely impressed and very very satisfied.
Before when i would take off in first gear i would lose traction below 2500 if i launched, now i have no traction in first gear under wot no matter the RPM range makes me laugh every time i punch it.

Second gear now pulls as hard as first gear used to, and now third gear pulls like 2nd gear. From 50-100 3rd gear pull is insane.
Shifts are noticeably faster and ooh the best feeling is backing off the throttle at around 5k you will get thrown forward like you slammed on the brakes.

This tune definitely turned my car into a beast and im getting better gas mileage as well. No complaints here
