Atlanta.....Buckhead Import Performance (B.I.P) review

being as it was late in the day and i was a work in appt they didnt have time to tune on the dyno(which i completely understand plus my car is basic mods so their ready made tune should be fine)
i really wanted to call bs about the posts where people said that their cars "sounded" different after the tune...so i fired it up in the parking lot and ill be damned if it doesnt!!! not louder so to speak but definately MUCH "throatier", meaner, deeper.
pulled out of the parking lot and IMMEDIATELY noticed that the tranny felt WAY different than before...shifting is firmer, faster, seems to downshift at a higher rpm than before(god you cant help but love that throttle blip), and upshifts faster as well....(the tranny changes alone are worth the price of admission)
as far as power goes you can definately feel that there is more available even off idle but where you can really feel the difference is when you go WOT and hit about 2500rpm...from that point on it is a freight train!!! very impressed with the gains and im hard as hell to please
on the interstate on the way home the difference was obvious as well...whereas before if the cruise was set on 75-80mph and you needed to pass or blink and merge you actually had to give it a little throttle to get her to move on out, now though, all you have to do is touch the pedal and the car lunges fwd without any effort, i loved this!!!!
trip up to atl is about 180mi with the last 100mi all wide open, 4-6lane interstate...drive up had the cruise set on 80mph and got 21.4mpg...same stretch on the way home yesterday with the tune installed and cruise once again set on 80mph i got 23.1mpg...gravy!!!
all in all i was not only more than pleased with the tune and the car running like she was designed to but just as much in the way that the shop staff and service was a great experience in its own right.
Great work guys and I'll keep coming back for more!!!!
posting a link below for you guys to review(if its permissible with the mods)

B.I.P. Tuning by Tony
Correction factor for their Dyno Dynamics unit is set at 0 so you guys can begin your Mustang, Mainline, etc. peak #s comparisons as I'm sure will ensue but I can honestly say that I am MORE than pleased with the end result....Freight Train!!!!

having a bit of a hard time reading the dyno on that, but was it 389?
no offense at all, but i would have expected to be in the 400's at the wheels at least.
all that matters though is you are happy and notice the difference by the buttdyno
did you happen to get any dyno's before your exhaust mods? i'm kinda on the fence about those.

Trending Topics
Unfortunately i'm not up on the various dynos but if what you are saying is correct it makes sense it would be 435-440ish as most people with tunes from eurocharged are getting 420+ at the wheels with just a tune.
the shop near me has an awd mustang dyno, i need to finally move my butt and set up an appointment for a few runs.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

389hp x 1.13 CF = 439.57 standardized wheel hp
Then
439.57hp x 1.21 (21-22% parasitic loss) = 531.87 flywheel hp
I thought that these were high on face value but if the end result is even CLOSE to the same way MB rates the m156 by their standards then the numbers may actually make sense.....507hp stock to 532hp with minor mods and tune doesn't seem TOO out of line
I have a 2010 grey c63.
Said he was attending a meeting somewhere up in buford and since he was kinda close to BIP he wanted to get something done there on his tune is all I know.

Looks like your happy with your tune , i would be

I just hope my tune turns out as good as yours did.

Torque was 377 peak at about 3800rpm
and
AFR was nice and flat around 12.5 which was comforting

Glad to see there is a place within reasonable driving distance to get a tune.
