Thinking about Selling to upgrade..

Gents,

I am thinking about selling my 1st AMG as I have been approached with an opportunity to purchase a '14 507 edition.

I currently have:

- '13 c63coupe p30
- 25k miles
- Eurocharged Tune
- Modecarbon cf rear diffuser
- CF mirrors, CF front vents
- CF rear spoiler
- Diamond white
- Black Interior
- Fully loaded except p31

I am on the fence about it though; hence my post. Any thoughts/advice regarding the possibke sale/upgrade?

I went to Carmax today and was not fully pleased with the offer. :'(

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated during these "difficult" times! Haha

personally, I think waiting for the w205 is better. the hit you would take by selling your 2012 and buying a new 507 isn't worth it IMHO.

whats the point, its basically the same car without some 507 decals and wheels?

If you had a pre-FL, maybe. But going from a FL with a tune to a 507 isn't going to be much of a change. I'd keep it and keep modding.

Keep ur tuned 2013! It's almost same car minus the stickers, wheels & some internal forged engine.

I would take ur CF goodies over the black painted parts of a 507.

I didn't know 2013 came with P30 vs P31?

Unless your selling to get the 205 then keep it. Not worth selling for a 507...

I didn't know 2013 came with P30 vs P31?
I'm pretty sure it's just a typo. There were no P30 packages offered after 2010. 2010 was a hybrid year where they offered P30 till December and then P31 going forward. He has also has the same forged internals. So basically his car is the same as a 507 car.

I wouldn't trade his car in for a 507. He can be like that guy Antoli in europe and purchase 507 stickers. Way cheaper way of making his car "507".

I would have assumed the same, but he specifies P30 and w/o P31.

Jeff, u are right if he has the P31 he will be having the same forged internals as the 507. So not a big upgrade there that is worth the $$.

So funny. If you asked this question 60 days ago you would get "get the 507 it's the last great AMG, 6.2 fo lyyyyyfe! The new c63 won't compare, doesn't look aggressive, blah blah"

All it takes to change that is a couple pictures, nevermind performance figures and seat time.

Wait for the 205. It will be awesome. Better than the last, like every other MB product.
