White letter tires.......hmmmm
So yesterday I saw a new C7 vette (dealer plates) and it had, what I imagine was, a dealer installed body kit(not bad looking imho) and the factory 5spoke wheels....BUT....the vette had white letter tires on it and it looked mean as hell!!! Now granted, the vette has a MUCH more aggressive style than our w204s so it seemed to really compliment the vette but I just knew when I got home I had to do some searching, only found 1 C63 with white letters(what looked like a murdered SEMA style car) so had to get to work on some cut and paste artwork.....when I got done i have to admit i was kinda torn, part of me thinks it looks KILLER, but the other part of me thinks it just looks Easy Cheese. What i honestly think I may do(benefit of staggered tire rotating process) is white letter one side of my tires and leave the other side as is, that way if I don't like it, grow tired of it or just want to change the look I can just remount the tires and rotate......and the pix below are not even photoshop, just a quick MsPaint session.....

I'm actually kind of offended by that remark.....I mean
A) Youre banging a hot *** girl
and more importantly
B) you know that afterward she is GOING HOME TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

Yeah... I love that car.
I would do this if I had low profile tires. So 19's + really. It would look funny on 18's I think.

Yeah, no....don't do it. This isn't nascar. It looks right on old musclecars or if you have slicks, like the Michelins on that BMW above....but I woudn't do it. Draws the attention away from the rest of the car

Yeah, but that m5 you're like Idk what to look at because it is all awesome! And then in retrospect you question the tires but are ok with it becauseracecar.

IIRC some of the newer P zeros have white lettering. IMO, do it if you like it. Worst case, black it back out. Hell, people on this forum have wrapped their car in orange vinyl, which I would NEVER do but they like it and so do some others. Just don't put any NASCAR stickers on in addition

Things come back around
When I was a kid you could but a paint stick for that very purpose at the hot rod shop
Use it to detail the raised letters, came in different colors because tire mfgs used different ones
We used it on our bicycles lol
It wore off after a while

Do White-Letter Tires Belong on an AMG? It Depends.
This news from the forum got Manuel Carrillo III and I in a bit of a debate. He came across these pictures and asked if I wanted to write this up as "How to Redneck Your AMG". We're talking about the white-letter tires on this C63.
I said, "Sure," but that I actually like the look of the letters. Really, the problem here is that the car doesn't suit the tires. That might sound weird, but let me explain. The car in the photos doesn't look enough like a racecar, which is where we see lettering on tires. This specific car needs to be lowered with a widebody kit, and the rims need to be changed out for something a bit darker in color. Add all that, and the white lettering would look fantastic.
Take a peek at a few I found that look more like racecars.
