Comand screen logo....did some digging
...and I'll be damned
This is promising but not yet a defined option. i have found the ability to change the star logo to the amg logo and it works, but it resets with the 2nd key cycle every time...ive got to do some more digging and see if I cant find a way to delete the star so that i has no default image to revert to....
and as an even bigger tease ive been able to do it with my own images as well, but they stop after the 2nd key cycle as well...im going to get this cracked.....be nice to have pix of your own car, your kids, Denny's...you get the idea...im not going to post how i got into this system just yet as i know that i am skating on thin ice with hot blades in relation to bricking this unit but as soon as i get the image to stay, a defined process and it's safe yall know i will post up

Sure thing....my inability to leave well enough alone has cost me a small fortune over the years BUT damn its worth it when you get it right

Great stuff jp! You're quickly becoming our resident electronics guru. In the BMW world some eastern Euros were selling various electronic enhancements for BMW M's. One (that I purchased on eBay) was the ability to choose between (6?) different M startup splash screens, pretty cool to have. The AMG one looks fantastic.

This system looks like its written in cursive Aramaic once you get inside....I know there is a gate that is switching but since I cant actually watch it open or close when the system is shutting down im having to pick a path, write down all the values, cycle the key and compare.....line by line....good thing I work for the govt so ive got the time!!!
