Ditching Mobil 1 - NA (Has anyone done any research on the other approved brands?)
If you want to jump on I'd recommend d running LiquiMoly Ceratec first, then upon your next oil change start cycling in LiquiMoly MoS2 as recommended by LiquiMoly. I drive my car hard and after 1.5 weeks of driving Mobil seemed to lose that fresh oil change feeling. Motul with LiquiMoly felt as strong as it did day of oil change.

Big fan of Motul 8100 x-cess myself, run it in my 335i and C63.

Bad wording on my part. 24k covered three Motul changes, the first and last were tested. In general I go about 8k between changes.

That being said, for those starting out on this, the recommendation is to:
1) Run Ceratec through during your initial oil change (5k miles)
2) Upon future oil changes, add 1.5 bottles of MoS2.
Correct?
