I guess I'm biased because I sell Girodisc, but I also use them on my own cars as well.
Can't say enough good things about their product. It's fully functional, they look great, wear great, last, are serviceable and weight savings are very nice over OEM.
Let me know if you would like some pricing on them to compare to RB.
I have a P30 and have only experience with the standard 2-piece brakes and the Giro disc.
I miss the "bite" of the standard P30 brakes and the Giro discs are heavier than standard P30.
I don't know if it's the discs or the pads but I'm not really happy with the Giro discs

They are absolutely NOT heavier than the standard 2 piece Rotors!

I'm looking for other rotors and I found this thread.
I've never heard about Girodisc before but I'm using racingbrake for some years now and I allways had the same problem with them beside going on the second rotor set and different callipers and many sets of different brake pads.
Resuming my concern, I've allways had vibration and some noise under braking at higher speeds >120kph (I don't track my car only street use)
I first had sloted/perfurated rotors with 4 pots c32 brembo brakes, now I have RB open slot type rotor with RB pads and with 6 pots brembo brakes from CLK63, and I have the same problem!!!
Now you could say that is something wrong with the car! That was what I also thinked, but after changing all bushings, steering rack, tires, wheels, etc. the noise and vibration is still there!
I want to ask you guys, what do you think about these pictures, is the rotor ok!?
this one is the CLK63AMG RB rotor type, before I had the C32 rotor type and other caliper as described above and had the same "spots" !
What could be the problem, are they rotor, pads related or something else!?

Should I switch to Girodisc?
now 63AMG:
Before 63AMG when new:
Before C32AMG
PS: my car is a 2008 W209 CLK
Looks to my eye that the rotors aren't true. I'm not trying to bash RB, just saying it looks like there are low spots on those rotors.
These were standard under my car and are for sure lighter than my Giro discs
Something is fishy here. I switched from P30 to Girodisc, and actually weighed them myself, and Girodisc were definitely lighter. I weighed them by standing on the scaled myself, then with me holding each of the two different rotors. This was to make sure it wasn't about how the rotor was sitting/hanging off the scale.

I think those are stock rotors with the cross-drilling and slots. The ones in the pic by Rolf de Graaff are worn down to the bottom of the slots as far as I can tell.

They are seriously worn. Look at the edge of the rotor and how much of that is sticking out past the surface. If they are how they look to me, well, I never knew you could wear them that deep.
