Meh, it may carry around a... "few" extra pounds, but Dodge will sell you a fully loaded Hellcat Charger that can seat 8(5 in the car, 3 in the trunk), makes 707hp, costs $75k, and has a full warranty. Those prices are nuts...

Hellcat doesn't look as good as that.
The prices are nuts, but it does looking amazing.

That being said, that supercharger installation alone comes out to about $135,000 USD, the price of a manual hellcat Challenger for fun, an auto hellcat Charger for family duty, and tax, tags, and titles to cover both. That's two complete vehicle systems making 700hp.
This? It's putting a supercharger on, something skilled guys can do in their driveway(along with beefed up diff, etc.). It's not like the engines getting yanked, forged, and put back in to(maybe sorta possibly) run 100,000 miles. That's ignoring the fact you probably wind up with a car that can't put that power down anyway.
Que the "he's a hater because he can't afford it," I'm ready!

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
I don't know if I am missing something - but what's the point of that car? A "Black Series" look-alike four-door sedan? The Black Series is a track package, pure and simple. If you want the fastest four-door Benz, buy an E63S and turn up the boost. If this thing makes any sense, just imagine what a two-row, five-seater Formula 1 car would do for you... what's the point?

To each his own some people just prefer a sedan over a coupe or a C63 over a E63s like me for example. Plus there's still quite few racing series such as the Trans-Am Series that run sedan classes and they look plenty track worthy to me pure and simple. Now here's mine I'm still trying to finish up it has had a full BS body conversion and some drivetrain upgrades. I've also only used OEM parts to do this unlike the aftermarket plastic kit used on the car in the article. I believe besides me Dads C63 is the only other person to do this with a sedan.

Yup - it's called a Chevy big block ZZ572 motor. The stupid thing is that it only puts out 620 crank hp in street form (I think the racing version can squeeze out an extra 100 hp) out of a 9.37L engine.
