Damn! Busted my rocker panel getting out of my driveway

Damn! Busted my rocker panel getting out of my driveway
I didn't see a block of ice just outside my driveway and we I drove off while turning right, the block of ice got stuck underneath my rocker panel, shredding it to bits. Of course, the -22c temp didn't help.

What are my options? The oem costs 1000$!

Help appreciated.

Something like that and the way you said it shredded the panel...um yeah, you will just need a new one. You need to hook up with a body shop to paint it...

Getting a new one was a good suggestion... but I didn't need anyone to tell me that.

Gary at suvneer I sent you an email.

I finally found a dealer selling a MB unit for 667$can. A very good price, better than what I could find on the internet for a real MB part.

But if Gary can provide a nice looking alternative, I might do some lemonade with that lemon life threw at me today.

Pics will follow, I wasn't in the mood to shoot a pic of my busted car today...
