So the ADV.1 05s are done. They turned out even better than I had imagined and thats usually not the case. Just waiting on back ordered PSS.
Looks like itll be a while waiting to get my engine/trans worked on by Weistec as they have a couple projects ahead of mine. At least everything is there and ready.
Renntech has my BS hood getting ready to paint with the rest of the widebody in the next 2 weeks. Really looking forward to seeing a Barolo Red OEM BS hood.
Will continue to update as stages get completed!

Well it took some work with measurements that Renntech had from prior widebody C63's along with the guys at ADV.1 as well as my wheel and tire guy. My 2 sets should both be different and pretty clean!

Funny. I really like HRE as well..my first choice..got a set for my truck which are pretty sweet. The look of the wheels I really tried to stay with the stock look of the 5 stars..just a little more over the top tho.

Its been a while so I have some updates. My engine and transmission are currently getting worked on by Weistec. Heads are going off to CNC. Work should b done in 2-3 weeks and then my shop will have it back to install the stage 3 blower and complete the other addons. Renntech is painting my BS hood next week. They already send the painted widebody set. I got CF hood inserts for the air intake. I also recently got my CF sideskirts and roof spoiler. Waiting for the Boca CF seatbacks to come in. We r currently looking at options for upgrades on the trans/oil cooler. FMU is hard at work on fabricating and installing the rollbar which will b meet NHRA specs. My wheels should be shipped out soon as some PSS finally became available. I just ordered DJ Safety 5pt 3" comp harnesses for the drvr n psngr. CCW is making a set of rear wheels for me 505a in Argent silver 18" 315 with Hoosier DOT radials.

Thats the goal. Make a great car even greater!! I really think when everything is done on the exterior, even the sceptics will b impressed. Renntech widebody with dark paint looks better, blends in. I really wanted pretty much the best thats out there, still keeping it driveable, safe and comfortable but truly one of a kind and not cutting any corners. Things will all b coming together very shortly. Then cant wait to see how it is on the track as well as around town.

Went by the shop recently to check progress on rollbar setup. Looks amazing!! FMU does really top notch work with fab and welding!! Will include pics soon. Rollbar will be painted Barolo Red.
Black Brembo brakes finally arrived at FMU this past week and are in process of getting installed.
CF seatbacks r in from Germany and will b painted Barolo Red as well. Got Mode Carbon hood vent inserts in as well.
All the painted parts are in from Renntech finally. Seems like all the shops have been moving to new facilities recently.
Still waiting on b/o MPSS for both sets of wheels. We will see what I need to choose as my second option very soon.
I will send pics once I get a chance and as the install commences.
Engine and tranny should b done any day and shipped to the shop. Then should b pretty quick bolting everything together.
My rear CCW wheels are done and will be in my possession this week. Wrapped in Hoosier DOT's. Will send pics once in hand.

Since the Michelin PSS are not in and wont know when or even IF they will make the size I need for my wheels, I went with Pirello P Zero Nero GT's for my HRE's. I'm going to wait out a little longer to see if the Michelin's will come in for my ADV's.

Crazy built! Cant wait to see the final product...
Actually in my opinion, the RennTech widebody wont do your car justice. I think it's too square. U should've went with a different kit.

I def agree to a degree. As I mentioned before I was trying to get a wider stance on the vehicle without needing a full body kit and metal/body work and then having to paint a good portion of the car. Another big point was I wanted to keep the look of the pre FL model but wanted a BS hood. So I was still able to keep the front and rear bumpers. I went with the best option in my mind that was available. In the end if it doesn't flow then thatll b the next project.
