New C63 Owner, Have Some Questions
Hey Everyone!
I've always wanted a C63 AMG and yesterday I pulled the trigger on a 2012 C63 from a local dealer. I LOVE IT! I loved the color combo of this specific one, but I was actually wondering if the specific features were offered by Mercedes in 2012, or if they were aftermarket by the previous owner. Specifically, the car is two tone...white car, but with the top black. I can't tell if the top is a wrap or a custom paint job. Car also has black badges, black grill, dark tail lights, and exhaust pipes. No idea if any of this was offered by Mercedes directly in 2012. FYI--the tint in the picture isn't actually there.
Also, my C63 does not have parking sensors or a rear view camera, but has the lane departure and blind spot sensors. Were the parking sensors and rear view camera options in 2012? I was surprised that they did not have that (unless I am missing it somewhere but I doubt it).

Good info to know that this was all aftermarket. Pardon my complete ignorance on this, I'm just getting started, but where does one go to do all of these mods? Where do you get these parts? The badges, grill, exhaust tips, etc.? Or do you just get everything dipped black somewhere? I'm sure as soon as I can save up some money after this purchase, I'll want to make some enhancements. Just not sure where to even start.

My '13 C63 has a rear view parking camera. It is part of the Multimedia Package (720). It also has the lane departure warning and blind spot assist. It does not, however, have the parking sensors.

Previous owner had some subtle mods like the chrome blacked out. Taillights are dark. Where are you located? You might get pulled over for that. Your roof is probably wrapped. And good that you have the HID conversion since the car does not have lighting package (adaptive xenon headlights).
As for your parking sensor it is an option and called parktronic. Comes with front and back sensors. As zibby mentioned the rearview camera is part of the multimedia package. Lane departure warning and blind spot are another safety package.

Congrats on the purchase!! Definitely a few subtle changes like abcut973 said. I also noticed the colormatched rear spoiler, a very unique detail. Now all you have to do is start modding to put your own style on it
