Selling Eurocharged handheld + tune
I have sent 2 emails to eurocharged, and so far no answer so I'm asking that there.
I bought a tune +handheld in september and I never installed it. Can I sell it to someone else ? Worse case scenario I'll be sending the files to EC myself ?
I searched the forum but nothing useful came up

If the handheld was never used then you'll be able to sell it. The person would need to contact the tuner of their choice.
You are saying you have a tune for sale therefore it means you have sent your original file and got the tune back? That tune will be useless to anyone buying from you since it is VIN coded.

Bottom line, you can only sell the handheld. The tune is worthless to any other c63 except yours.

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my previous message, but I never installed anything. In fact, I kept everything in the box (I know, I know...). So no, I haven't sent any file to Eurocharged yet, that's why I'm wondering if I can still sell it now.

Anyone buying the handheld from you will have to pay the tuner of his choice for the tune. So think about that when posting your ad. Unless eurocharged confirms they will do it without additional cost.

Surprised that you haven't gotten an official response from EC about considering their great reputation with quick turnarounds. did you email EC direct (eg. the guys on here) or a local EC vendor?
PS. Curious as to what the official answer is btw.

You'll have to pay for the tune from EC. I've asked them this previously.

What I bought was a whole tune + handheld package, except that I haven't used any of them yet.
If I can't sell it to anyone I guess I'll install it, but then what prevents me to send the file from another car to EC ?

I'm surprised EC didn't reply, they must be away on vacation.
Yes, u can help out the new buyer by sending his stock file since u paid EC for the full package. I don't see why EC would deny this procedure.

Seems you have an unused package. I suspect Eurocharged will not care which vin they provide the tune to as long as they only do it once.
PM or email Jerry at Eurocharged for a quick reply.

Jerry sent me a reply right away . He said it's fine to sell it back, I just need to give the receipt with the transaction and whoever buys it will be able to send their files directly to Eurocharged.
I'll post a new thread to sell it, thanks everyone
