Weistec Supercharged stg3 C63 Hits World Record , 9.902 @141mph
My C63 recently went 9.78@140mph. The run's ET and trap speed were 100% legit. However, it could not be verified due to the 60ft timing being off. YAS called us again to run the car. They had switched the timing sensors that measured the 60ft. The car was run again and this was the result:
We couldnt get the car to hit 9.78. The wind was blowing agianst us and the weather was at a higher DA. Plus, the transmission was sliping that the CEL popped. The RPM was hitting the cut-off line almost on every gear. If that hadnt happened, the car would improve maybe 0.1-0.3 seconds in ET. The car was diagnosed afterwards, and this was the fault code:
The transmiison will be sorted out hopefully this week
All this, but the car was still able to hit a 9 second pass and record the best ET for a C63. The run will be verified by dragtimes shortly and will be a new world record.
