There's no reasoning with Avery.
He refuses to take his car to the strip, but he'll take his car to the shop with the most overly optimistic dyno to get his inflated numbers and brag about it. I'm honestly surprised that he didn't say that with LT's, he'll have 650 RWHP. He has previously stated that LT's will give you 100 rwhp, and he currently has 550rwhp with just tune and some exhaust work. There isn't any verifiable proof, from a member or tuner, that shows what you say to be even remotely true, which is odd because tuners have a vested financial interest in proving HP gains. A claim of a street race outcome, against a claimed mod'd GTR and a screen shot of a text is not "proof" in anyone's book, btw.
Show us one verifiable NA c63 550whp-600whp dyno, from any one, on any forum or from any tuner. Just one. Not much to ask, right? One dyno, that's it.
Hell, post an unverifiable one for that matter...lol

My memory is hazy but I think there were only 3 people to ever make 500 rwhp on a N/A C63; JRCart, dodger and dads. I mean legitimate dyno runs. And I was present for dodgers in Ohio which was 503 on a race tune.
Another thing they all had in common was they backed up their dyno numbers with track results.
Dyno's are just tuning tools. The numbers don't really mean anything as you know. Sometimes operators inflate the numbers to drum up business. Just like some tuners post a dyno of a race tune glory run to sell more tunes.
Also, different dynos read differently. For example, my friends Caddy put down 710rwhp on a Mustang dyno and on the same day at a different shop it put down well over 800+ on a Dynojet. His best run at the track was 9.69 @ 142

The new ATS-V and CTS-V are going to be insane. Honestly, I'm leaning toward the ATS-V because of the lighter platform(3600lbs.). A tune and down pipes and it's gonna run 10's all day.

No need to go to a track, no need to go to a shop, just plug that sucker in, make a few nice runs (60-130 would be good) and have them verified through dragtimes or wherever and you're done.

I've already posted a video of me doing a 40km-160km run on the highway, im pretty sure if you can count basic numbers you'll be able to figure out how long it takes from 40-160 ...I mean HELL in that video i had a blown intake manifold and 2 dying fuel pumps and didn't have a pulley or ROW boxes or exhaust work...tune only

I love it. The ride in the Caddy is so much more comfortable. It's almost too comfortable lol and the mod potential is ridiculous but I loved the C63 too. Every time I started it up it would make me smile.

i told you i would after he's done rebuilding his engine, im not going to drive 5 hours out into the middle of the woods just to "use his vbox" ..get real, i see him maybe 3 or 4 times a year if that and its during car meets, so when i see him in the summer, i'll do it then
I posted a video of doing a 40-160km run from a year ago, you guys won't accept that as a "run"... not my fault

Back to the original topic that I am interested in. I am stuck between a CPO C63 (Coupe) with PP or a new M3 with DCT. It looks like they are putting down the same numbers. The comparisons are between the 507 and F82 M4, so not exactly a C63 with PP, but AFAIK the 507 does not add much over the PP.
Any more thoughts on this topic.

I do not disagree with personal experience, but a 20-30 min test drive on side streets and highways near a dealer are not quite the best crucible for these cars. A C63 sedan without PP died on me last year (had to be towed back) and procrastinated my purchase until the F80 M3 came out, but my dealer (or a couple nearby) does not have a DCT M3 or M4 to flog. I will admit that I was able to test out a C63 coupe with PP today, and it felt much better than the standard C63, which did not feel significantly better than my 335 with a tune.
