Thanks! Still trying to figure out what I should do about the front fenders and bumper. I'm playing around with the idea of splitting my front fenders and widen it by an inch to get it to mate properly with the bumper.
But! While I ponder that... By way of a Canadian in Hong Kong, I got my hands on a stupid rare all black badge for my hood.

I got all the parts test fitted. I'm not starting to really ponder if I should just widen the OEM front fenders to mate with the bumper. Hhhmmmmm....

Another piece of the puzzle! Keep in' it classy with a powdercoated white seamless tank and trunk deck hanging mount.
The compressors will be hidden behind the tank. Time to get crackin' on making these hardlines now!

The last piece of the bodywork is finally here. Some tasty carbon fiber canards! Drool... Car will be in the body shop within a month!

Took a little hiatus because of summer. The widebody kit still needs to be installed, then I'd need to take measurements of the wheel well to order the wheels. It would then take 12 weeks to get the wheels made. So I decided to postpone that stage of the build until fall/winter. In the meantime, I did put the car on the dyno to see what it could do. ROW boxes installed, Eurocharged tune, secondary cat and OEM resonator deleted.

I ended up taking the summer off with this car. Started working on converting a 1967 Honda CB160 into a brat style bike, which is a bad idea when you already have a car build in progress. Anyhow! With winter coming, it's time to get back to the build! Here's some photos of the air ride install. We're about 17 hours in and I still have to install the ride height sensors. The lines have been routed, compressors/tank are mounted and shocks/struts/bags installed.

The attention to detail is amazing. There seems to be this artistic view to the build.
Long build in progress you must be anxious for the wide body to be done.

Sorry MTV! I'll have more updates over winter. I tend to drive the car around when the weather is nice/warm. I store the car in winter, so it's usually the best time for me to tinker with it.

DERP! Here's the video. I have to adjust the minimum ride height and add the ride height sensors.

Here's an update! All the metal work is done and now it's off to paint. Can't believe I started this journey three years ago with breaks in between and it's finally getting done this year.

Looking great and drooling to see the finish product. Please let us know where you bought your kit and cost. Thinking about doing my coupe. Have to decide to either leave stock or once I start modding, I'll be the person that will go all the way.

I'm lucky enough to have Bob Merkt in my backyard. He was partner/shop manager for Jesse James' Austin Speedshop. He pretty much only works on hot rods, but I caught him at a good time and he accepted to split and widen these OEM fenders. Trying to go for that non-black series wide body look.

Nah, I've been driving it. I ended up buying a newer daily, getting engaged, long hospital stay (bills), picking up a '67 Honda motorcycle build, etc. So this project took a back seat to all of that until my fiancee got frustrated with all the car parts sitting in our place. So she's pushing me along to finish it now so she can get more room. HA!
