Rear LED Turn Signal Help/Question

Anyone pay close attention to the stock rear LED signal lights on their W204? My right rear signal went out. Dealership replaced under warranty, replaced both sides b/c some LEDs were out on the driverside too. Here is the weird part, there are 21 LEDs that make up the signal light, only 17 are lighting up. The outer 3 which are lined up vertically are not blinking, and one LED in the center toward the center of the car also. The exact same LEDs aren't working on the other side. Pushed the brakes, turned back ups on, they appear useless at this point. Anyone else seeing this with stock setup on 09 C63? Thanks.

There was a recall on rear tail light plugs. Look into any burned connections and check with your dealer... The 09 did not have LED lights for the main braking system but from what I recall, the turn signal portion IS indeed LED...

At least my '10 is...

I had the recall fix awhile back. So you guys are telling me all 21 LEDs are lighting up when the signal is on?

Thanks for the replies, haven't been on here in awhile but always nice to have this to help each other out. Thanks Maximus, seems weird they wouldn't use all the LEDs. I never noticed it, had the car almost 4 years...lol.
