Moot point I guess on your wheels since you most likely got them in Australia. I just realized. My bad...

They look about as good as a set can get from my point of view. I saw a really nice Red coupe with HRW's on it that just rocked. I think this might be the way to go, although I am not sure about the 10" wides on the back. I don't want to use spacers-did you use them?

Cheers,

Howie

P.S. Where did you get the wheels? What did you pay for the set?
Occasionall very slight "snick" on one side when loaded and a big dip/bump at high speed. I have carefully looked but never sighted a mark/any sign of rubbing on my tyres. I recently had the rear wheels off and I "tapped" flat the panel join between the rear guard and the lower skirt (it is a inner guard panel join where the 2 panel ends have a 90 degree fold and meet - I suspect the size varies between cars - can be a 5mm to 12mm edge which sits at 90 degrees to the tyre wall - gentle smack upwards with a hammer folds the edge up and increases clearance - you could be ultra neat and grind and paint) and I have had no tyre rub since. I am not lowered but there are others here running a similar combo lowerded with no rubbing.

The 10" on the back with a 275/30 tyre fits fine. That said a 275/30 tyre is a nicer fit on a 9.5" rim. I specifically went looking for a 19 x 10 for the rear - the other cars here are running OZ Racing and BBS wheels but I could not get the sizing I wanted for the C63 from those brands. I would love to test fit a 285/30 on the 19 x 10 ET 52 rear and see if I could get away with it.

Plenty of vendors selling Forgestar (mine came from Vivid Racing) and plenty of horror stories re the wait for wheels to be made etc. Price should be under US$1,500.00? plus shipping. You will need new black wheel bots as if nothing else the seat face is different - the bolts I got from Vivid are crap - had one break (first time in my life). The Forgestar F14s have lots of online references to cracking but you will not find anything re the CF10's. I got satin black but would go gloss next time - the Forgestar satin black finish turns a very flat matte black very quickly. I sugggest you contact a couple of the forum vendors as the price will very much depend on how much the shipping is - I shipped USA to Australia. I have bought the PSS from Tirerack USA for much cheaper than I could buy in Australia (when the A$ was close to equal to the USA$) and last couple of sets from local "grey market" importers.

S550 on order
i dont mean to say anything bad but when i ordered Forgestar i waited like 6 or 7 months then when the tire shop that did order them received the rim..it was only 2 rims then Forgestar told me the rest was in japan and it would take a few more weeks..anyways when i bought my Vorsteiner i had them i think 3 or 4 days later and they email me once in awhile asking how the conditon of rims are and if i need any touch up paint..which is kind of nice

also i hit a pot hole roughly 3-4 inches deep going around 90km and the rim taco'd kind of ..luckily it was fixable but it didn't even leak air which is pretty impressive considering i ran over a rock with PSS tires and the entire tire support bar collapsed

Plenty of stories on here re issues with Forgestar and in particular with getting the product out of them. Being polite, I will say for myself it was a slow process (at one stage I cancelled due to the delay). Some vendors claim to hold stock and if they do, paying a little more for certain supply and delivery is worth it.

Lots of Forgestar haters on here but invariably they cannot suggest a comparable product at the same price range. They will tell you that HRE or the like are best which I do not have any dispute with but the catch is do you want to pay 3, 4 or more times the price of Forgestar. I would have happily gone a premium mid price like Oz Racing which I have on an Audi but they simply do not make the sizing I wanted for the C63. Rohana looked a great option except their 19" would not clear the brake calipers and I did not want to go 20".

For my part I am very happy with what I got for the price from Forgestar, save I erred in ordering the rubbish satin finish.

I was really considering Forgestar, however I don't have the patience. IF they want to sell product then they need to have the wheels. I'm not going to give them my money and then wait for them to deliver months later. It just doesn't work that way for me. I like the MRR wheels, and even Niche have something I might consider, but if the Forgestars are available then that is what I will most likely go with. Thanks for the info.

Has anyone dealt with Vertini wheels at all? I am most likely going with the Forgestars, but Vertini has a nice wheel as well. My buddy at the tire shop says the Forgestars are lighter, better and less expensive than the Vertini, but I just thought I'd ask. Any feedback???

I have contaced several Forgestar dealers, and am getting some good prices I think. Lead time is between 4 and 6 weeks. I am being told by one seller that the rears have to be 19x10 in order to clear the rotors and calipers. Is anyone having that experience? I only wanted to go to a 19x9.5 on the rears and 19x8.5 in the fronts. None of the other dealers are telling me this.

I am only wanting to go as large as a 265 tire on the rear, and a 245 on the front. From what I have read on this forum, that seems to be a doable size combo without any issues. My car is a 2013 C63 4-door. Any input would be most appreciated.

Cheers,

Howie

So I'm now 99.9% on the Forfestars. Timeframe is 4-6 weeks. However I have asked several dealers for price quotes, and prices are great. But one dealer said I have to have the 19x10 on the rear in order to clear the brakes and suspension. I am sure this isn't quite true as some of you have 19x9.5 on the rears right? Plus the whole point of having the wheels custom built is so the offsets, size, paint is to your spec. So if anyone can clear this up I would appreciate it.

Looking tondo 245/35-19 on front and 265/35-19 on rear. Does anyone see any problems with these sizes? Thanks again.

Forgestar are not custom made wheels, they are pre-made in Asia. Forgestar in USA only do the finishing part of the production line.

I've seen members running 19x9.5 in the past, but maybe this size is not available anymore. I wouldn't go 19x9.5 anyways cuz the concavity is very minimal.

But one advice, if the sellers tell u it's 4-6 weeks wait.. Be prepared to add double the time if not triple. Unless they have a raw set in stock, I wouldn't count on the 6 weeks wait.

Contact Circuit Motorsports, they aren't a vendor here, but they were my goto vendor when I owned a Lexus. They're the cheapest and most reliable imo, very popular vendor among the Lexus crowd. I got the lowest price and my Forgestar in less than 8 weeks for my C63. They will price match and go below. GL on your search for new wheels.

Forgestar CF10

19x8.5 et35 225/35 Hankook Ventus v12
19x10 et47 265/30 Hankook Ventus v12

(235 and 275's will not rub with these offsets if you're stock height.. If youre lowered, then you'll most likely want to roll your fenders)

Youre welcome

Hey,

Yes I understand the wheels are not completely custom. Forgestar does all of the finishing to include drilling, painting, polishing, powdercoating, etc. I spoke with Ace about an hour ago and parts are available for the fronts, but rears won't be in until sometime next week. He states, as did my dealer, whom I have done business with for years, a wait time of 4-6 weeks. Sure that can and may very well change, but I guess if I want Forgestars that is my only real option.

On another note, what other wheel brand fits into the Forgestar price range and quality without the wait? I have looked at MRR, but am told their quality isn't quite up to Forgestar, and they are heavier. I have looked at Vertini, but told the same thing, and they are even more expensive and heavier.

I am looking at the CF5V, but have no problems with another wheel if the quality is there, along with price of course. I don't like waiting for a wheel to be made as I think it causes a lot of apprehension and ultimately ill-will towards a company that doesn't feel like catering to the customer enough to keep wheels in stock. But it seems they are doing ok or they wouldn't be in business. So please, anyone, give me some good wheel names that I can check on and see what is available.

The sizes and offsets directly from Forgestar for my car-2013 C63 4-door with no suspension or brake mods...

19x8.5 - offset 40mm+ Fronts

19x10 - offset 52mm+ Rears

IF anyone has any other input that would be swell. Thanks to Roswell and the rest for you input. This forum really does come together to take care of their own. Cheers for that....

HTX C63,

Thanks for the input. What lowering kit did you use? I like that it is just close enough, but not too close. Looks great.

GTX C63,

I also just bought the DEPO lights and installing today, but I do like yours better. There seems to be just so many differences between cars so you can't do it all. Your front looks sweet as well.

Cheers

I have a question,

I've ordered a set of Stance SF07 19" wheels (8.5 front, 9.5 rear)

they will be going on my continential dws 265 30 rear, and 235 35 front

The Sales guys said the offset is +42? Sorry haven't ordered wheels for these cars before, what do you guys think the ideal offset range should be?

Smile Wheel Offset and Size.

Hey everyone. I am driving a 2013 C63 AMG Coupe and I want to upgrade my wheels and tires. I want to go with 19 inch but what would be the best wheel offset because I want to avoid rubbing.
My car is lowered.

I have looked all over the forums and I see a lot of people with wide tires without any rubbing problem and I always wonder how they do it...

Are you getting any rubbing now? If not, and if your new tires will be the same width and outer diameter as you have now, then just keep the same offset when you go from 18 to 19 inch wheels and you'll be fine.
If you are planning to go wider and/or taller with the new tires, or wider with the wheels, I'd suggest telling us what you're planning and see if anyone has experience with that setup.

ROSWELL runs 19x9 ET40 245/3519 and 19x10 ET50 265/30x19 lowered with no rubbing.

He originally ran 275 on rear and had little rubbing with weight in back so dropped down to 265.

Hi Guys

Considering the following setup on my 204: 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 ET39 all around.

Will these fit? Which tire size would you recommend - I would only run Michelin PS4S.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards from Switzerland,
Yannick

Not even close. the rears at 9.5 cant go lower than +45 unless you start doing fender work, playing with narrower tires and adding more negative camber etc.. Your rears at 9.5" will need to be in the +45-+56 range for tire widths in the 255-275 range

Hi Roswell,

im replying to an old thread, are you still on this forum?

I’m wondering if 19” wheels from the W205 C63S(2016) will fit on my 2014 C63 507 Edition without any issues?

do you think they would? Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

‘’thank you,

Thank you very much Blurred, that is helpful.

Within that thread you suggested there is one black coupe (W204) with 19” W205 wheels (I believe) that he got off a sedan like you said.

the wheels I’m looking at aren’t factory MB but the seller had them on his C63S, so “I’m assuming” they’d be the same fit.

I suppose actually bolting them on to my car in order to check would be the best way to confirm hey? Do you have any other input?

thank you very much for your time🙏🏻
