looking for an OBD2 scanner
Guys
I'm looking for an OBD2 scanner for my car that will read and erase codes. nothing fancy or expensive and simple that I can keep in the car. If you know of one that will work on our cars please feel free to comment.
Thank you

Buy a Bluetooth OBD II adapter and download the Torque app. Problem solved. 30 bucks out the door.

I have a ScanTool 423001, $25. It connects to a PC (like a laptop) via USB and comes with the software to read codes / other stuff. Torque is good, but is only for android.

By law, the obd port has to be within arm's reach of the driver. MB is cool and puts them right under the steering column. I hear Volvo puts them in the center console under a tray you have to remove. I think this may mean that volvo is of the opinion nothing will ever go wrong with the emissions system!

Dash Comand App
Hi Folks,
I recently bought an OBD-II wifi module and Dash Comand App. Manged to get a wide open throttle run in second gear and was able to view the log.
My query is that my car (W211 E55) is modded and wondered if the DashComand would actually read the true engine power and torque or just what it should be as std.
Rgds
