Just installed mine. Took 5ish minutes as OP stated. Good thread! Drove a bit on the streets, but no chance to really get on it. Freeway Driving home tonight! Then we will see...... Thanks to OP and all the others who posted input here. Very good info.

Itching to get mine retuned but seems my handhelds stuck and won't reset, have to wait to see what dim sport says now and Italy is on holiday till Wednesday
Once you figure out the process which is greatly outlined by the op, it's pretty easy. Hardest part is getting the mygenius to update

I tried updating MyGenius unit again today and I was able to complete successfully. 
The steps that I followed were the same on both days. Anyway, extracted the software from my car. Off to EuroCharged. Waiting for the modified file.

Got my tune. Loaded it with no issues. The car seemed stout. Smoothed out "C" Mode. I will try it out some more later tonight as I only have enough time to run to the gas station after flashing the car.

MyGenius software only allowing me to select .mod or All File Types
Cannot select MYG from drop down resulting in inability to load tune file.
Any suggestions?
I've uninstalled software, did the update 3 times per software/device, still no luck..

Hi guys,
today I tried to connect the mygenius to my car. When I started to read the software unfortunately at the third time the mygenius told me to switch on the dashboard I started the car. After a while the mygenius told me the task was successful. Now I went to my Computer and tried to Download the file but it tells me Error (Unable to read license)
What do I have to do? Can I delete the first reading somehow and do it again?

Joe, you can just restart the process to secure the file you need. The handheld should overwrite any incomplete files. If that doesn't work, contact EC.

I'm getting the same issue when trying to update the my genius unit itself. I was able to update the software fine just every time I try to update the unite I get that same error message any thoughts? Waiting to hear back from eurocharged just wondering if anyone on here knew what the problem was?

Has someone here (I hope plenty of people) has done a dyno run with before/after tune numbers?
Or even a simple Vbox run with before/after numbers would tell the whole story without just guessing or going by the very inaccurate feel of the pants.
I would have expected people that are into tunes or spend this money to have this tools ready to verify you made a good purchase and really know how much quicker or faster your car is now.

I have the original Modified tune, the V5. But now with the Xpipe and ROW boxes I got a new tune. The problem is, is that this Mygenius won't accept a new tune and cannot overwrite the first tune. I have Googled this to death tonight but no answers to this.
Does anyone have a clue as to how you can overwrite the tune that's already in the mygenius computer? Here is what it says when I try upload the file to MyGenius
"This file is present on the device MYGFile0.MOD".
What can I do here?
