They tell me it's 2 different files, and the file name is also different so I would assume that it's not the same.

You can only have two tunes maximum on the tuner. Double check that as well.

I did and spoke with Dylan at Eurocharger and they said that I need to bring the car back to stock with the stock tune and then dump the old tune and go from there. I will try that today.

FWIW I was able to load 3 tunes on the MyGenius, based on what PurpleheartAMG mentioned in response to a question I had.

Currently have:
v5-blip
v6-burble
v6-no burble

And the 'stock' tune.

Not sure how many tunes you can load, but it is at least 3.
