That is not fare to say its a W205 wheel. Much is changed if so. W205 dont have those butons and internals. So a bit confusing for some readers to think its a complete w205 wheel.
I bought a W205 steering wheel and I am going to replace the buttons with the ones having the arrows (A0999050600 and A0999050700). However, I am not sure if I need to change the contact plate as the part number is A0994641400 which is similar to the part number proposed in another post by Chris The Swede (A0994641000). Does anybody know?
Yes you need to cahnge all. Would have been better to buy the corect one. If you have paddles they also need to be changed.

The wheel has paddles but my car is a manual. Therefore, I assume that I can just disconnect them and do not buy any new ones. This should work with the contact plate you proposed, right?

NO and I mean NO W205 have arrow version. If you buy a W205 wheel you will need all electronics repalaced by for example CLS electronics.

W205 steering wheel swap to upgrade my steering wheel on 2009 CLS63
I am trying to put a W205 amg steering wheel to update my 2009 CLS63 W219 steering wheel, is this possible with a new steering column, chip swap and buttons? HELP!!!! The wheel below is what I am trying to install onto the 09 CLS63.
Question is, is there anyone out there that has tackled on this project??? If so please help as far as the process and parts I would likely need. Any help would be much appreciated!
This may/ may not be helpful. I'm buying an AMG GT. I wanted to just switch my steering wheel I bought over to it. Both are AMG, both are 2017, both look to have exact same wheel. However, I was told that I would need a new computer plate inside the steering wheel for it to work. That is not something I wanted to mess with which is I'm having to sell my brand new wheel. The airbag issue is solved by buying an airbag that matches whatever wheel you are installing.
