Can anyone doing this chime in on the paddle shifters?
If I were to take the paddles off of a W204 would they fit directly on the W205 wheel or vice versa (w205 paddles to w204 wheel?)

What about the "speech-OFF" button on left side of the steering wheel?
Can you use the button or is it not working?
Cause the W204 steering wheel hasn`t it.

Thank you Chris.
The part numbers you post in your Thread are the right one (with arrows).
Good to know there is a difference between the buttons (not only in color).

My vehicle is a 2010. I’m in the process of updating to the FL steering wheel.
Reading the various posts in order for the illumination of the steering wheel buttons, I have to update the steering column.
I’m a bit confused.
Is the part that needs replacing just the assembly that holds the indicator stalk and cruise control
Or
the whole steering assembly - the assembly that connects the steering wheel and runs through the firewall eventually connecting to the steering box / wheels.

Finally made the W205 wheel fully functional on pre FL W204. Column is from a facelift W204 Coupe, hence the newer design. Control circuit in W205 wheel replaced with circuit from W204 wheel. Buttons swapped out, wheel came with the "Home" buttons, had to get hold of the standard up/down and left/right versions. Not really sure it was worth the extra hassle over the FL W204 wheel, but its done now, and is a marked improvement.

Looks Fantastic!
I had a right pain in the backside doing mine too.
Swede was bang on!
W205 wheel, W218 buttons with the up-down, left-right arrow arrangement, the "new" circuitboard (plug and play) inside the wheel AND the FL W204 Coupe/W212 Coupe steering column.

With the transparent part of the piece.
In my country we call airbag ring.
The seller gives me a price ring and one without.
So I had the doubt.
Thank you!!!

Thanks!
I have already purchased a stering column complete.
Now for mounting I have a question ....
I bought piece is used, so I do not think to bring the red tab you see in the photos.
The program Wis Mercedes calls "safe transport".
Do I have to have some caution when assembling the piece?
Is there something to focus not error for the steering angle sensor?
I await your answers
